I would just like to thank Mr.P for starting this amazing website and community. Although in Ireland MLG isn't known that well having the TLN website gives me a chance to talk Halo and gaming in general.

Ive only started getting into Halo in the last year when I went to a friends house where he and a few of his friends were playing H3 so I gave it a shot, needless to say I was terrible. At the time i didnt own an xbox so the following week I went out and purchased one. Seen as though I spent all my wages on the xbox I didnt have the money to buy H3 LOL so my friend gave me H2 and i gamed on this for a week. After finally getting H3 i began to game hard but not on the MLG playlist. After getting to know all the guys that were in my friends house that day they started showing me the in's and out's of the game as they were big into Halo and had attended small LAN's in Ireland.

Eventually I got hooked on all that is Halo. I found the MLG pro site and began to watch all the VOD from the beginning. After watching all the events there was to watch I started watching the events live by religion lol. Now I love watching events and watching the pros play so I can improve my game, although i'll never attend an event I like to try be the best I can at everything I do.

After finding TLN and reading through the forum it seemed to me the majority of the communtiy were nice genuine people so I joined. Although I am not a premium member as I am out of work so money is tight regardless of the cheap price, I will be upgrading my account in the New Year.

So all in all this site is top notch. Big thanks to Mr.P and Mrs.P and to all behind the scenes at TLN for making this site and community what it is today.

Happy X-mas and New Year to all:)

Good to have ya here buddy! It's true... TLN community is something special. I've always loved being able to come on here and chat about everything halo and everything else without people being mean.

P.S. I love hearing everyones story about how they heard of MLG. It's always started out as a complete noob, got dominated by friends but still loved playing. Then heard of these guys who play for money. Then find the site. Then watch some of their matches and jaw drops on how sick they are! haha That's mine too.

i am still a fairly new member as well to TLN, and it is amazing. throw a big thanks as well to mr p and the whole tln staff. unlike mlg pro, people can actually talk about halo and tln/mlg events and be normal. i find the mlg site deals with a lot of immature people so i usually don't post there just read. the community here is great and VERY helpful! everyone is always giving a helping hand to another regardless if you know them or not. it is also a great source of CORRECT information lol. especially with the team changes, keep the updates coming. if not for that the rumors would be going nuts!!! haha. before i head to work again, thank you mr p and tln!! i really enjoy the daily streams als0o (especially being an instinct fan)!!!!! ihade if you are looking for people to play with send me a FR, my friend and i are always looking people to play with, tired of randoms without mics lol. @Thunder real quick my story, 2008 str8 rippin!! my friends always played and i was horrible. i jumped in right when halo 3 was coming out and my friends were very into halo. i was god awful and didn't wanna play lol (only FPS i ever played were goldeneye and perfect dark for n64). i kept trying and one day looking for a montage on youtube before we played i came across a str8 rippin halo 2 montage and final boss montage (golden era and new era montages). needless to say i was hooked after that. i am very competetive and to see these guys showing so much emotion and dedication made me want to be a part of that. halo 3 was tough, but i got better as time went on. nothing special still, but i like to have fun with it too. now in reach i am making my strides to try to attend an event with a team. i can honestly say though, if it wasn't for the 2008 str8 rippin squad of t2-legit-elamite-snipedown i don't know if i will be in the same spot i am now with halo. that year and run to the national title was really something and i will never forget.

Great to have you! I know europe is big into gaming and doesnt get its respect like it should. TLN is a place where you can talk openly about your opinions and no one will shoot you down like mlg forums. This place is unique

It is Great to have you here at TLN! I love this community as well. All of these guys and gals are really fun to play halo with and just laugh and have a good time. It really relieves a lot of the days stress.

That's awesome man. Your story kinda sounded like me with H2, but their are way more ways to watch the pros now. Good luck man, and good luck on getting the premium account.

TLN forums members greater than MLG forum members, since this is a smaller community who all seem respectful.

I can agree with everything you just said. There truly is something about TLNC. Even though I might not get out to compete in an event, I'm trying to spectate one this upcoming summer.

I feel the same way bro, I joined the site a couple months ago or so and didn't start actually being active until a couple weeks ago. My main reason for starting to become active here is because I made a post or something and found out how friendly the members actually were. It's not often you find a good amount of friendly people on a forum. I've only been the Competitive gaming scene since the end of 2009 so I never got the privilege to enjoy the H2 days and even today I have friends tell me they still think H2 is the best Halo yet. Anyways, it's nice to have some competitive Ireland players on here, shows how big the professional gaming scene has spread around the world. Now you need to create a team and go to an event and impress everyone there like Frenetic Array did :P
