TLN Talk Ep. 3

Hey guys I only got to watch about 1/2 of it because i'm midway through finals and i'm a graduating senior so between school, work, and of course keepin my game tight with the ladies i'm a little pressed for time! haha but i'll watch the rest tomorrow.

Just wanted to share my 3 thoughts on what i've seen of Episode 3 so far.

First - This is easily me second favorite feature on this website only being behind watching the actual pro's gameplay themselves! TLN Talk's are so informative and helpful and fun and I just think they're great and hope Mr. P and TLN keeps them coming!

Second - Dude how SICK would it be so have Walshy, Og2, Og1, and Strongside's Final Boss jerseys in one glass case!?! Please take a picture of that because I think that's amazing and am unreal jealous! haha You should really try to get them signed!

And Third - This is more of a broad thought but I love how Mr. P has a man crush on Strongside just like all the rest of us! haha i've been a Side fan since I found out about MLG in 07. But more importantly I love seeing Mr. P's enthusiasm for this website! It's awesome to know and see the owner of a business show as much passion for what they are offering as the person who's buying it.

Well I gotta go guys but just wanted to say hey to everyone and stay connected in the scene even though finals SUCK! haha P.S. My birthday is on the 13th! :D lol

Episode three is truly great. They get better as they go along, and I can't wait to see everything come into action as the house gets working!

New MLG site is a marginal upgrade at best. The forums are atrocious.

DH team might be decent, I hear Goofy and Twylight are good at Reach. Not sure how hard Elamite or Snipedown are gaming.

Love Side, he's so genuine. He's not great with the on the spot answers, though. ;p

H3 was okay to watch if you're looking for other things besides flashy plays, since there wasn't much in the way of those unless you had a sniper. I haven't found any Reach gameplay exciting to watch, very boring. That likely derives from the fact that I loathe playing the game though. Reach is barely faster paced than H3, if at all. You move faster...but that doesn't make the gametypes faster. I think H2 was by far the most exciting Halo to play and watch.

Love how fast these TLN Talks are coming out. Keep up the good work. Would be cool to get more of a variety in the interviews...get the opinions and views of some pros we don't frequently hear from(personally would love to get some 2gre knowledge).

I kind of agree with fierce on reach, i feel like the game is so boring because people are just really hard to kill. there's really no way to fix that unless bloom was removed but i don't think bungie can do that with any patch. i'm probably one of few who have way more problems with people eating shots and blood shots than others in reach, but i could be wrong. MLG Sanctuary is a fantastic map.(wonder why) I agree with mr. P that H3 was so exciting, i could watch it endlessly. H2 was fast paced because of the 4shot BR and the great maps.

Other than that, TLN talk is pretty awesome, i really like the team discussions and pro interviews. can't wait to see where elamite, snipedown, and walshy end up. and i wish i could afford TLN Fantasy because that would be the greatest thing ever, especially with roybox, totz, t2, and FiS.

I was happy paying 5.99 just for the LANs but all of this extra content and the possibilities that will be coming up after TGH gets going makes me really glad I am a Premium Member.

No, they currently have the 16th seed but if dynasty picks up one person who played H3 at dallas then they'll be in am mostly likely all depends on who dynasty can get

Roy, T2, Lunch, Totz, and FiS... all players I would love to hang with. Especially since 4 of them are on the Instinct roster.

I just have nowhere close to $600. I'm super jealous of everyone who goes. Good luck to the members who will be sitting there trying to reserve their tickets when TLN opens up the registration.

I'll have to rely on the Map Quest Contest.

Also, I completely agree with all of the statements about Halo Reach. It is truly an exciting game to play and watch. Watching Reach gamebattles on the stream has been quite the experience. I am stoked for the 2011 season.
