How exactly does the team score get generated?

I was glancing at the fantasy scores at the end of the night, and was wondering why my head couldn't process the math behind the team scores.

I imagine it has something to do with the total games played, but how exactly does the math work?

Sorry if this was already addressed on the forums, I didn't see anything like it.

mine's weird too

my team has about 300 more individual points than the #1 in my division, and every one of my players beats his players (from 40 to 140 points)

but my team standing points are a crazy 19 points below him with 102 vs 121

Hmmm this is actually a pretty good question. I just thought before that you divided all their overall points by games played and added them up but that doesn't seem to be the case here...

The Lan Network Fantasy Scoring System

Positive Points
1 Kills
1 Assist
.40 Hill
.40 Ball
1 Flag Pull
5 Flag Cap
5 Win
35 Tourney Win

Negative Points
1 Death

Formula

For Individual Players:
1. Add Positive Points
2. Subtract Negative Points
3. Divide by Games Played
4. This is the Average per Game for the Player

For Team Scores:
5. Add the overall points for each four members on your team
6. Multiply #5 by 5
7. Divide by total games played between all four players
8. This is your team score

Thanks for posting my awesome team! 4 players in the top 5. Somehow I'm a point behind two teams tied for first. I guess Destin and Victory have had better round 2's than Pistola and Tizoxic?? I dunno but this is fun!

No problem! I had to figure out how I went from 1st place in my league to 2nd after the final series last night. :p

I have 3 players on my team that are overall in the top 10! I have one that is top 1 ranked and I am in 5th place in my league? Like wtf I don't get this thing.

I really don't understand this. Before the finals, I was 5th overall. After the finals, having 3 players who played in them(one on the winning team)...I dropped out of the top 25? With people who had multiple players who went out in the first or second round of losers having a better team score? My players played way more games since they went further in the tournament, therefore putting up drastically better stats...but does the number of games played also kind of cripple them? That's kind of lame if that's the case. Someone needs to explain this to me.
