Possibility of holding a LAN

I was talking to my friend Dalton (TowelTruckGuy) tonight about LANning Reach and how much fun it is to LAN and it gave me the idea of possibly holding one in the fututre. This past summer Dalton held a Halo 3 LAN with a bunch of Locals and a month later I was able to do the same and they were a lot of work to hold, but totally worth it because of the fun I had.

Most of the locals I played with in Halo 3 though however are not on the level they once were in Halo 3 and most stopped playing once Reach came out which led me the idea of inviting the TLNC to my place to play.

If anyone could bring a TV/Monitor, Xbox and the essentials to play and get here I will support housing as well as Dalton since he lives so close to me for free and food drinks will be covered also. All you would have to do is get here. I live in Galion, Ohio to help with getting ideas for directions if interested.

I can't give an exact date yet due to this being such a new idea and with all the planning that has to go on in order to make something like this happen. All that is needed is 6 people to come along with me and Dalton makes 8 total, but if possible maybe more could come.

Please post if you are interested about this idea and I am sure that if it takes off then this could easily be done in the future.

It seems people here aren't interested in traveling out of state just for a LAN. At least, that was what happened when I posted about a LAN that was already set up.

If you do this in the summer I'll definitely be down. Not gonna go to any LANs during school unless they're ridiculously close.

Winter break is coming up with me within the next week. If I can get money I might consider it! I usually have lans at my house but we don't have any viewsonics or anything set up we just normally have like 3 standard tvs and 1 hd monitor its sad I know but its all in for fun!

If I can't do it during my spring break which is in March, then it wouldn't be until the beginning of June. Like I said I def want to get the date figured out ahead of time so I am not being rushed into it like I have been in the past when I had LANs.
