Hey everyone, My name is Dillon McGaughey (pronounced Magoy) I am a 20 year old graphic designer. I have years of experience in most adobe products, as well as quark and freehand products. I have worked as a graphic artist building ads and doing touch ups to photos for newspapers, as well as building online web ads. I do alot of freelance work in and around the gaming world, including all of the graphic work for TLN. That is truly some amazing work, some of the best graphics I have seen. I think you could have done some more intense work with the BtR tag though just by seeing your other work. Just my opinion though, you're a great artist for sure though :)

I definitely could of, but since the tag was their actual logo and not just a gamertag or emblem I wanted to keep it simple similar to how the pro tags only have the team logo and nothing else.

I decided to test your theory to if it was true, this picture was taken right before I finished the N in KRILLEN

As you can see this is a normal looking picture, not good not bad. When I typed the N and completed the work something magical happened however, my screen changed in a way I cant put into words, but I was left with this:

I think you (and whoever else) should try and convince Towey to make a few of the sweatshirts. Kinda a limited edition thing like Bravo has done with the TD sweatshirts. Would be pretty awesome to see actual apparel come out of the great design! :)

I think the biggest problem is that they never intended for them to get printed, hence why there was no part in the contest saying if I won I had to give them the rights to produce it, and since it was my design with MLG's logo Im not sure if towey could get them made and sell them legally. and because they didnt plan to print them they didnt set any realistic limits on the number of colors of the size of the print and what areas, all of these make clothes alot more expensive to produce. Also the way that like the kiaento shirts are printed where the graphic feels kinda plastic and like a deluxe iron on instead of just dyed onto the shirt is a cheaper way to make nice clothes with alot of colors for cheap, but obviously while the rigid plasticiness of it dosent really bother you when its on your chest it would probably feel really weird on an allover print like that, and with all the tiny floating paint splatter they would deteriorate quickly when you wash it. So basically im not saying I would stop them from being printed, I would love to own one, but I would try to make sure that they are high quality prints that look as good as the design does on the web, and the cost of production would probably make them way more than a regular hoodie, and im not sure if enough people would spring for a hoodie this complex over a simple one if it meant another $30. I would, but looking at it from the business side I don't know if the design actually matters as much as just getting apparel from your favorite team for as cheap as possible. I would still love to do some MLG or TLN related work on clothes, and if I ever get a serious opportunity maybe it will happen

$45 is too much to ask for a logo. Even if it took you 6 hours (which without breaks that is doubtful) you would be making more than minimum wage hourly.. If I was artistic and knew a thing about logo making I'd honestly probably do most stuff for free.. Kinda like how I paint things for people for free... Just sayin dude

Dont assume that because this is part of my JOB that im not a generous person, im offering a service for a price, if you dont like it thats fine but I would assume the problem is on your end because most people ive just met dont expect that much from a stranger and then degrade them when the stranger denies.

I spent well over $100 for a logo for my old paintball team. And that was for 4 hours of work. It was $20/hour for each hour after 4. What D is selling his logos for is SUCH a steal. Those take lots of work and he should be rewarded for it.

you PAINTED a paintball gun. That was a bad decision from the start. You need to anodize a gun to make it lo good. I'm guessing your kind of painting is just put paint on things. I'm just backing someone up on here that I can has an artistic background.

Are you asking if I sketch them out first? I didn't for any of those ones, honestly drawing is the weakest part of my skills right now so I haven't done alot of logos that require me to actually draw lol, im trying to get better at it though.
