My little 15 minutes of fame.

Hey guys. I just thought it'd be cool to share my story. If you don't like it please no haterz.

Well I played sports throughout my whole life and really competitively also. Played on muliple select teams and traveled all over the place to play baseball. I also played football but my main love is baseball. But anyways my junior year our team made it to the Texas baseball state championship and won! State champs! lol But I had a great game hitting and in the feild.

I also made a good catch in the outfeild in a clutch situation that ended up getting on ESPN. Here's me getting interviewed after the game.

I got all kinds of awards from ESPN, and tons of other places. I got to do a few interviews with ESPN and even did a phone interview on baseball tonight with Orel Hershiser! He was a super cool dude. Local celebrity!! haha but yea it was a great memory and I just thought i'd share a little bit about me. I always enjoy learning about the people on this site outside of their love for competitve video games ( we all have that, that's why we're here at TLN!! haha)

I saw that play a while ago on the MLG forums. That's absolutely amazing. I play baseball (outfield too) myself, but I'm in a much more casual 18+ league with only like 6 teams.

And as with many other of the community members I think my absolute LOVE for all sports is what makes me love competitive gaming so much! I may not be nearly as good as the MLG pro's just like I couldn't hang in a round of golf with Tiger (although i'd kill to play anyway with him!) haha but that doesn't mean I don't LOVE watching them all play! And that's why I'm here at TLN! haha Thanks again Mr. P for this little piece of Heaven! haha ;)

awesome thunder!!!! i was fortunate enough to win a state championship in ice hockey in high school my senior year. what a time, will never forget it. now i didn't make any highlight plays like that lol, but still...those are the memories you will never forget. i feel the same way. my love and dedication for hockey is the same i have for halo now. that competitiveness to be the best drives me to play everyday even if i am having an off day. also i am a very biased fan when it coems to sports, but that was an amazing catch, and extra points for doing it at a young age!!! dam you had some air time!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha

My school is top in the state(california is huge on baseball pretty sure you know that) went to the junior olympics for barbell and had a blast! I am a pitcher 6"5 220 so I'm one of those typical heat but my ball tails like crazy!

yeah i was scouted to play college soccer but tore ligament in my right ankle(my stronger foot) which put me out for a year. too bad cause i averaged 35 goals a season in competitive travel soccer.

Truly an amazing catch, amazing you got such a great story to tell your kids some day. I used to play baseball when I was younger and stuff and was a pretty decent center fielder. My speed was a huge help obviously lol. I don't play any sports now though because I don't like the "jocks" that live around here. Just a bunch of douchers.

I miss playing baseball. When I was in little league, I got a home run for game of the season, first player to bat. And that same game, got a diving catch to save the game. :]
