Predictions For Raleigh

Fb looks like the team to beat, it's going to be crazy at Raleigh !!

Definitely can't wait. FB to wreck house, but it still seems like most teams can win it. It will be interesting to see who's on fire and who is mentally prepared for the tourney.

My top 5
1. FB-probably the most consistent team in halo right now and they have a lot of fire power
2. Instinct-back to back tournament champs and regardless of their lan performance they will show up for raleigh
3. TD-I'm sold, really impressed me at the lan and if they catch fire and stay consistent they could win it all
4. SQ-overlooked and will continue their trend of 4th place finishes
5. BTH-to inconsistent to break into the top 4 but has a ton of fire power

FB will win as it is right now. I don't think anyone has the consistency to beat them. If Instinct can get that oh-so-ridiculous teamshot from Orlando back, they will take it for sure. I was impressed with every new team except Str8, but then, I didn't expect much from them.

1.FB- they are my favorite team
2.BTH- They Look Impressive and just need to tweak some stuff
3.TD They've done well at both 6 team lans but having 2 slayers is an issue
4.Carbon- Sk looks good and if naded is on fire they could be top 2
5.SQ - if enable ison they could be top 3 but for now this is where they stand
6. Instinct has gotten too cocky for me and therefore i don't think they will place well
7. Dynasty- They looked pretty solid but its hard too tell
8. HaE- I think they will finally break top 8

Unless Instinct can really get back into their groove I don't think they'll finish within the top 3. That being said they could easily be a top2 team if they perform in Raleigh like they did in the first two tourneys.

1. BtH- has a few things to work on but seemed pretty solid during the games in were they were playing top teams like FB and Instinct. Snip3down to go off!!!!
2. FB-was the best team in this lan period.
3.sQ- shouldnt place outside of top 5 after 2 top 4 finishes.
4. tD- looked pretty good at this lan i know for a fact they will place better than what they did at columbus. If neighbor has a good tournamnet like at columbus they have a chance to get top 2 or 3.
5. Instinct- didnt look like the instinct everyone knows them for. they may place top 3 if they get their act together but right now they are top 5. will not 3 peat!!!
6.Dynasty- looked like the second best team in this lan. who knows they couls suprise people and possibly win this thing.definately looked better than stinct. tizoxic and apg are jus disgusting.
7.CbN- heard that they have been doing pretty good and i jus dont see them getting getting top 5 because they dont have ea good slayer besides Naded and defy is ok. but not as of good as slayers as bth,stinct,and td
8.DH- simply because of goofy and noob.probally the most underrated team right now imo.
9.Purgatory or HaE- who knows!!!
10.Str8- if they played like what they did against BtH, they're linup isnt all that great but toward the end things started to click for str8. i really hope they do well

As good as FB is looking, I still think Instinct is the team to beat. Hopefully they've learned from their mistakes from the LAN and go on for the 3-peat!

I'm going to be completely honest. I've watched the past 3 LANs and the only DOMINATE team was Final Boss. Triggers Down turned on a switch come tournament time where they were just another team, and seemed like noone could beat them. Dynasty was a huge surprise even though they got knocked out early in the tournament they were another team that was looking good the entire LAN. BtH seemed to be off at times, they would destroy one series then they would just choke on easy wins. Str8 looked better than the last LAN, but you can't do any worse...Instinct will not win Raleigh, I'm sorry.

BtH is good but to say "they have the most skilled players" is a pretty bold accusation. Instinct, FB, tD, and SQ all have a pretty ridiculous amount of skilled players as well. I don't doubt that Heinz is 98% of the time one of the best players in the league but the other 3 can be pretty inconsistent.

I'm not 100% sure but I personally hope BtH places well, but not in the Top 3 just so some of the fans will shut up already (no offense).

Yes they are a very high seed (4), but with their performance at this last LAN nobody is thinking they are a top team right now. All the players on the team definitely have the ability to really turn it on when it comes to tournament time.

Purgatory


Coming into Raleigh ranked 11th, some teams may overlook them and have a real chance to take out Carbon in WBRD2 especially with veteran Karma in the lineup. Which brings me to...

Carbon


With their most recent team change, swapping SK for BestMan, most people have written off Carbon from performing well. SK brings quite a bit of Halo experience to Carbon and that combined with Walshy's experience and the explosive power of Naded, Carbon may surprise quite a bit of people (including me) with their placing.

I know its a vague prediction but not a bad one. Plus I got my wish for BtH not being in the Top 5 lol. Hopefully their fan base will dull down a bit.

Yea those type of games are always nice! The 206-205 Game 3 loss for Dynasty against TD was a heart breaker. You could just see the shock on their faces. I would've liked to see SQ up a bit higher but at least they're consistent with those 4th place finishes. :p

I believe they would've actually made a run for it if Enable was on his game. Enable went 2nd most positive on SQ but his Twitter said "Played awful at the tournament". Normally you see him the most positive in the game. So just think about how it would've played out if Enable was on top of his game.
