So game pazzo is the new local LAN center in the chicago southwest suburbs that opened recently.. The place is like a gamestop on steroids .. Its got a Huge area to play whatever game you want... Snack bar and soon to be liquor bar and everything a gamer can ask for ..But not really.. This place seems like the ideal place to go and practice with your lan team .. But the problem is that they dont use gaming monitors .. they use 50" tvs that just throw you off your game and makes me not want to go there cause its really no point if i cant play halo the way it was meant to be played ... I feel like the place would be fuckin sweet if they just added a booth area where teams can practice and have a good time.. I stopped by the other day when they were hosting to film there commercial and noticed fearitself, totz, and t2 gaming on there 60"tvs and from trying to play on those tvs from the past i knew they were probaby thinking that they should of stayed at tots crib .. Because those tvs are just trash and lag real bad :/ ... I wana get your guys input on the situation and how i should go about asking the owner about changes they can possibly do in order make the place a lot more popular.

I have the same problem here in Vermont. There is a sick place called "Gorilla Games" and they have four 50" LCD TV's with awesome gaming chairs and whatnot. No stations for LAN's or anything :( I talked to they guy about it and he just said "no" haha. Good Luck :)

Ya so your pretty much on the same boat as i am... Ive been to LAN centers where they do have tournament setups and it just makes the experience soo much better... what i dont get about pazzo is that they plan on hosting tournaments and events but theres no way they will be successful with those if they dont have the right setups..

Is there a way of finding out about LAN centers near you? Because I tried Google and it wasn't so helpful.

yeah in fresno ca.. there was three lan centers on the same street.. blackstone and shaw

buddys gaming center..
level one gaming
and the matrix loung

level one was just like you described your lan center

big trashy tvs but the big thing there was pc gaming.. there was a lan station that they strung up each with different tube tvs

i won a tourney there and got stiffed for the prize money

buddys gaming was a place i didnt visit much but i wish i could have.. it was the ideal lan center with a painted monument to halo 2 on the walls.. this place was like an mlg tourney in the size of a house

the matrix lounge sat in a small corner inside an indoor soccer arena that also had an indoor rock wall.. it looked like a tiny shack but it was the most hardcore lan center you could imagine
it was literally too small for nubs
and every pro on the west coast went

my first tourney we met and matched up with storm ventures
i ffad with smiley girl naded spoon and samurai
second tourney.. i played against xit woundz
this place was filled to the roof with red bull and dominoes.. it was great!
sadly the matrix was shut down after someone broke in and robbed the place
the owner is still on my FL.. and he says hes planning on reopening and getting another team sponsored

I live in South Florida, and Flippers is the probably the best LAN center. It has about 6 stations exactly identical to those at MLG tournments. All of the stations have ViewSonics and Astro MixAmps. They also stream some stuff, and hold tournaments that go pretty well.

We have one of those. Same name, most likely the same franchise. Except that it's managed by Sm0othAsEggs, who happens to be a moderator on the MLG forums. So there are 16 Viewsonics. It's pretty sweet, but we haven't had a LAN in over a month.
