good stuff... you should go back and find out the history of MLG and give us another good story lol
also ive gotta ask.. what does your setup look like? lol
and i know how you feel handling big bucks. i work on the marine corps' highest end electronics for their jets and the parts are insane... theres a screw that cost 410 bucks lol and a small circuit card thats like 80 gs.. my bench runs like 1.8 million dollars and its from the late 80s

Great read, very valuable insight, however, I'd say there are other players whos' MLG careers will be ending before Snip3down and Elamite Warrior. As for Victory X, he can basically decide when to stop playing, but yeah, very smart people to have a backup plan =)

Great blog Kwame, I really enjoyed the part about how you suggested bonding players with team contracts. I really feel you on this pov, because their are times I really wish certain teams should have stuck together. For instance, Heinz getting dropped from TD or Elamite from Str8. My brother and I have always shared your thoughts on this matter, and am glad to see others felt the same.
I loved the part where you said " Oh well, at least T2 will always be on Str8 Rippin, Walshy on Final Boss, and Ghost and Karma will be Carbon for life…wait. That’s just the nature of the beast I guess. " - Kwame.
I will forever see Walshy/Ogre's as FB : T2 as Str8 : Shockwave as Carbon : Hysteria as TD you get my point :)
The entire blog was very informative Kwame. Good blog , keep'em coming :)
off topic : this was my 117 post :) .... shouldn't I get like a free MC Spartan action figure or something :)

Keep them coming Kwame! Thats crazy how far MLG has come in such a short time...well maybe 7 years is not a short time, but on a evolutionary scale its only a few seconds. So thanks for the Blog Kwame, can't wait for the next one.
Edit: Just realized my post count is 121. EPIC!

Very interesting, great read. I just read both of your blogs for the first time and they were both very good. I think that is so awesome how you became friends with these pros and discovered what great people they are.

LOVE your blogs! It's a great topic that defiantly has not been discussed before. Let me also add the great Eddie Vedder to the list of those who have not gone to college.

wow you have an awesome awesome job if i understand correctly.....when your helping clients with transactions, are these client-directed transactions or are these hands off sort of clients that are just hoping for their 7-9% retern so to speak? i ask because if the clients are already informed, competent traders doesnt that make a person in your position's job a dream just helping them process? or am i wrong and you invest regular guys (like my own dad and family) money who dont know that much? either way it's a great gig and im happy that you not only have success in life but in the halo community as well (lol if youre our age its a success to even be hanging and playing with pros so im not kidding)
i went to the military to do one thing, massage school to do another and back to college to study philosophy/business and have learned more in the past 2.5 years investing my own money than the entire previous decade. i love it...i love learning about it and love what it requires out of me......to think critically independently while keeping an even keel makes me a better man and im thankful for the knowledge i've gained. im in the trenches doing it independently but doing it well if i might add. i've got a commodity/agriculture fund, and long/short fund and bought puts on a few glutenous companies i feel are over priced but thats 30-35% of my accounts and other than that im a stock picker although i would never put myself out there as that. i just wanted to give you props because you've got a great job...im not speaking in monetary terms either. it's just cool that it's ever evolving.....it's also a great atmosphere to continue learning and net working. thats what i lack is other like minds to collaborate with as all of my friends have a broker and put no thought into investing and see me as a lucky hippy who somehow keeps defying odds but it's my unorthodox ways that give me an advantage i feel and im thankful for it.
and speaking of things you dont learn in school who ever heard of The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC)? They have over 20 trillion in assets and over 900 trillion in transactions since '01. they also look a whole lot like a monopoly but to anyone interested, check them out theyre located in NYC and they are privately owned. i just put that out there for people smarter than I in hopes they can make sense of figures like that. anyways i apologize to pretty much everyone but Kwam3 for that ramble.....Happy new year to everyone, take care
