Hey TLN! A apologize in advance if there is already a thread dedicated for issues like this. I have a bad problem when playing Reach in that I go on cold and HOT streaks. And I mean one or the other. I like to play an objective/support role so my K/D is never anything to brag about, but still I would like my shot to be better at all times. I am either one, going +7 or more, or very off going in pretty bad negatives. Looking for any tips to keep my shot consistent all the time. Also if anyone would like to run some games and throw some advice out there as well. I have a teammate and full sponsor looking for 2 more members, but I want my game to be at it's best without any worry or an off weekend when I do make it to an event. I know I am nowhere near the best, but with teamwork, good communication and a great team shot you never know what can happen. I am doing it more so for the experience of competing at a live event! Any help would be appreciated. GT: T0eDRAG

Like I've said in a couple other threads, shots are not the only thing you need to worry about. It's all about knowing the map and how to get out of sticky situations and have teammates there to back you up with kills. Also being able to outsmart your opponent. Shots wise though, it's pretty much just playing the game and getting the feel of it I think. Also if you spam shots and get a guy down to one shot, don't continue spamming, just take a second for your reticle to focus and finish the kill. Those are my tips for ya, might not work for everyone but they work alright with me.

I normally count in my head 1 2 shoot 1 2 shoot 1 2 shoot to pace myself I use to spam my shots but it seems to help now.

Find your mojo. Yeah Baby, YEAH!

Or

Before you game do what a lot of players do. Wash your hands in warm water with soap. Find a position in your chair you're most comfortable in. I personally like going in MLG as a to2, to warm up or run 1v1/2v2. Find out the best way for you to warm up. Keep a level head. Don't spam in any situation.

me and my teammate/friend usually do a warm up in octagon, which i can stay steady and pace there, but when we get into the playlist it all goes away lol. again, my main problem is that i go in streaks. i'm not looking to become the best slayer, that's not my role. i am looking to be closer to even and a small positive though on a normal basis. yesterday i did play a lot better setting small goals for myself each game. was finding myself with very low negatives (-1, -2), but assists and objective work were much better. i also hate how my connection has been weird lately, sometimes having to double tap the switch weapon button to run the objectives and other time i dont need to. throws your timing off

why do people do this??

Helps get blood flowing and helps to keep your hands warm. I'm honestly not sure what the soap is for. Probably just good hygiene
