New Community Playlist

If any of you have played this, post what you think.
For those that haven't heard of it, it's a playlist for a bunch of community-forged maps. So far there are 8 in there.

My opinion:
They are terrible. If you have played Atom, beware, most of these maps are as bad as that.
Bungie seems to be terrible at picking out good forged maps, and I don't know why.

I agree. Most of the maps are horrible. Favorite so far has to be Thrust...at least I think that is what it is called. Plus, if I am thinking correctly, it has a very good resemblance to Onslaught from H3.

I tried playing one map of it. Forgot what map it was, but it ended up just being the other team got out of the map with jetpacks and camped. Granted we still won because I made it my goal to keep them off that, even if i had to fly up there and stick them. I just couldn't take jetpack whoring. Reminded me why I quit playing for a while. The maps are just like any of the other maps Bungie put out in their "fresh" form imo. Broken.

Yes, you are thinking of the right map. But it's funny, because there are so many better 2 base arena maps like Onslaught/Midship. SaLoT's "Submission" is a million times better than Thrust if you want a map very similar to Onslaught.

no slayer pro variants in community slayer (thrust is a decent map) and AR's as secondary in FFA..sweet new MM playlists Bungie FUUUUUUUUUU

Lol. Atom is not that bad. I usually have fun playing on it. But usually team shotting helps on that map. :P

I'm not saying I suck on it. I do work on that map almost as much as any other, but it's simply not fun.

I loaded up one game and then realized everything was AR start with EVERY AA available........


I then quit and waited to play MLG with a to4 haha

Bungie never ceases to blow my mind. Every time I think they could not possibly do anything more stupid than their last idea, they always find a way...

they should use the maps made in our contest... MR P or someone with connections should hit them up and coarse em into using GOOD maps

Yeah i played the community playlist a little and yes Bungie did a terrible job of picking out the maps. Some of the maps they need to pick need to go into different playlist like living dead because they work better with different playlist's. I think bungie needs to have a vote with community, because bungie obviously can't pick good enough maps. Like put a couple Maps out there let the community test them and if they want couple of them the community votes for the one's they want.

I played it for an hour or so.. everyone just uses jetpack and flies straight up in the air on spawn..

The ones at the end of Halo 3 when Bungie vs the World took place were really bad too. Most of them were awful.

Little bit of backstory. You can break Endzeit in multiple different ways. First off, the fool forgot to change the rocket spawn timer up, so they spawn every 30 seconds. Second, he forgot a safe zone around the map. So..... you can jetpack to the Pinnacle rock. Needless to say, we went in with a team of 5, I got on the other team, and all 5 of us flew to Pinnacle with the sniper. I just kinda chilled out there with my friends on red team, acting as the bait. Tons of fun.

The only thing I enjoy that bungie recently added was the FFA arena it gives me a little tiny warm up.

i played like 5 games on a few diffrent maps. only one was worth any sorta recognition. and it resembled onslot.....
