I can see Deadpool is going to be pretty popular. I skipped out on MvC2 and I used to get blisters in MvC (total noob). I just got into fighters in 2010 and this game looks so dooope.

Its hard to get good at MvC, but nowhere near as deep a learning curve of something like SF4. Its easy to pick up and play and do cool things, but it has a pretty deep combo system. I don't know we all like it. Ask Squee he knows a lot more than I do.

Actually SF4 was simplified with shortcuts. Whenever you made an input it would go into memory making it easier to link and combo into your next move if you have a good idea of what you are trying to do. I dont think Capcom ever went into detail about it and whenever I tried to watch videos explaining it i would be like "whatever". But yeah, I'd say SF4 relaunched the genre and got more people interested. Dont be scared to pick up MvC3, Capcom is good about treating their casuals and hardcore base.

I've only been on SRK less than five times. I did play alot of ssf4 until my disc broke and i never played or bought it again.

saw it earlier but what this really shows off is the beast that is Deadpool/Dante so people will be really trying to master that combo i know ima try it out really soon after i get my copy. i still think that Captain America can be strong and i wanna see how Joe plays. but they showed the skill in some of the players and Morg's Meter Booster... Almost cheating in my mind lol thats so beast. i mean really you put space you call meter and you charge with Dante then hop back and pull off a super.

3. Amaterasu - Which side? Capcom, from the game Okami - Power level: 7. What Amaterasu lacks in power, he more than makes up for in speed and precision. Plus he looks insane doing it.

4. Captain America - Which side? Marvel, part of the Avengers. - Power level: 8. With his trusty shield at his side and Super Soldier abilities intact, Captain America is a force to be reckoned with.

5. Chris Redfield - Which side? Capcom, part of the Resident Evil series - Power level: 7. Chris Redfield simply doesn’t look as tough as other characters in the series. Still, with his trusty sidearm and other powerful weapons, he isn’t a slouch either.

19. Morrigan - Which side? Capcom, part of the Darkstalkers crew - Power level: 8. Morrigan’s held up well in versus contests over the years, so there should be no reason for her to start slacking now.

20. Nathan Spencer - Which side? Capcom, part of the Bionic Commando series - Power level: 7. We would’ve preferred Super Joe, but Nathan’s bionic arm reach and powerful gun attacks make him hard to resist. Lose the dreadlocks, though.

21. Phoenix (aka Jean Gray) - Which side? Marvel - Power level: 8. Hell yes, Phoenix finally arrives and she’s in a fiery mood. Chances are she’ll put Dormammu to shame in every fight he’s in.


22. Ryu - Which side? Capcom, part of the Street Fighter crew - Power level: 9. Traditional yet just as strong as ever, Ryu’s Dragon Punches and fireballs make him hard to resist for old-schoolers.

31. Trish - Which side? Capcom, part of the Devil May Cry crew - Power level: 8. This badass chick can hold her own in battle just as well as Dante can. In fact, we’d like to see her and C. Viper mix it up ASAP.

32. Tron Bonne - Which side? Capcom, part of the Mega Man universe - Power level: 8. We’re giving her two thumbs up mainly because of her Servbots. Because not only are they cute and loyal, but also quite lethal. Especially around lunchtime.

33. Viewtiful Joe - Which side? Capcom - Power level: 8. Lights, camera, beatdown. This guy held his own last year in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the Wii, and he’s doing more of the same here.

34. Wolverine - Which side? Marvel, part of the Avengers - Power level: 10. Yep, we can’t get enough of Wolverine, with his adamantium claws and his bone-ripping attacks. Let’s go, bub!

35. X-23 - Which side? Marvel - Power level: 8. Want a sexy alternate to Wolverine? Then go straight to X-23, a female prototype with a few claw attacks of her own. Damn hot, this one is.

36. Zero - Which side? Capcom, part of the Mega Man universe - Power level: 8. While we’ll miss Mega Man’s departure from the series, Zero fills the role with his Plasma Blade and his various attacks. Hell yes.


Final Boss: Galactus - Which side? Marvel - Power level: Infinite. Not a playable character, but a final boss that will no doubt crush you flat – THEN eat your planet.

it does have a replay channal as well as Ghost mode so you can play anyone you have played before or replay the match

Deadpool can use great cross ups and have a great shot at getting in hitting with a Light 2 Mids and 1 heavy followed by Crouch Heavy makes them go off the ground and you can pop his first or Second Hyper for a great 45 hit combo :)

Deadpool can use great cross ups and have a great shot at getting in hitting with a Light 2 Mids and 1 heavy followed by Crouch Heavy makes them go off the ground and you can pop his first or Second Hyper for a great 45 hit combo :)

yeah i was getting that down packed the other night for when people gap his Keepaway he has a good back up plan with his Quick close ups. also mastering the Advancing Guard allows space to grow between you and your opp. so you can get out of Melee Range.

Yea Deadpool is awesome, mostly because people expect you to spam with him so you can do some sweet teleports behind them and completely screw them up. Ive been playing taskmaster deadpool and akuma today and rocking

yeah TaskMaster is good i just dont like playin him i feel like his Combos are to short that may be just me but man i have been spam watching Pro Videos and i feel like a scrub i mean they are amazing i get nice Combos but they are beast. im still rocking Akuma/Dante/Deadpool but i may switch out Akuma for Wolve... who knows i may even swap out deadpool for Ammy or keep akuma and swap out DP for Wolve its just who knows lol.

EDIT: i think the people to watch out for is Jwongg, Mike Ross, and Marn they just seem to really have their stuff down packed..
