Is the Stream only used during tournaments? Or is it live during normal everyday gameplay as well?

I've been wondering the same thing.
I've just wondered that because I am considering going pro and wouldnt see the point of doing it until the tournament comes around friday.

It's not only on during tournaments. It shows when others play as well. Not sure if it is on EVERY day though. It's worth the price though.

It's not on every single day, but it's on most nights with usually Roy, Totz, T2, FiS, or Bert playing.

"How often do they stream?
It varies. Every scheduled LAN lasts for one weekend, usually before events. Other than that, you may see pros stream matchmaking from time to time of their own accord. When no one is playing, the stream is usually occupied by several viewpoints of a rebroadcast from a previous LAN." - Forefront
I would also add to this, due to the off season and acquisition of the Gaming House, that there is frequent matchmaking being played on the live stream. Almost every night during the week you are sure to find someone playing.

Sign up for the TLN tweets. They send out tweets when the live stream is active and that is how I know what is going on.

It has been sketchy recently on whether or not someone is streaming, but it is getting better as they settle into the new house and everything gets organized.
