Map Quest Winner Announcement Date

Due to the 40 map submissions we are going to have to push back the announcement date one more time. We sincerely apologize to you map submitters but the announcement will now be made on February 1st. The planning and execution of our first ever Fantasy Camp took the time we needed to properly judge all of our submissions. Once again, we apologize for the wait but we look forward to announcing our winner come February 1st. Thanks guys!

I see what you mean. When I posted I was going for a more irritated feel. Sorry if I offended anybody, I just have now got myself worked up again only to be let down again. I do appreciate how much TLN team has put into this, it is quite incredible. Sadly, money is tight and I don't have the luxury of a membership so I don't get to see all of their work. I guess that might be why I am irritated.

It's ok just make sure to always stay calm, I do understand were you coming from on every part of your post. I to don't have the cash to get a stream and my reason is far different from yours, but you must stay focus in life or you will fall.

I didn't enter this, but I am just really excited to see what map wins it so I can play on it and maybe see it go on the circuit. God knows we need new maps. So hang in there to all the people that submitted a map!

SaLoT is a cool guy and a pretty great forger, but I don't see why every one is intimidated by his work. Sure he made two (technically) of the most popular maps in H3, but they're also two of the most hated maps as well. The guy is not infallible, nor is anyone really. Any one with some good ideas and competant understanding of design theory as well as knoledge of how to use forge can make just as viable a contender as any of his maps. Even SaLoT has commented on his maps not being they best ya know... Unlike game play, there are no "pros" at Forge. Any one can compete.

It's b/s like FireCracka's comment that bring any community down. It's completely uncalled for. We're here to game and have fun, end of story. Lets not drag drama into any of this.

I made a default version of my map (non-MLG). It was quite interesting because I've never done something like that. I actually enjoyed figuring out where to put extra health packs and cooler guns on the map (like the SHOTGUN).
