Return of THE WALSHY?

On his recent blog, he posted something like, Expect big things of Walshy in Halo Reach, im super pumped for that, halo 2 walshy was incredible, and got me really excited watching him play, so yeah, hopefully this is his big return! What are your thoughts? Discuss! Thanks for reading!

Yeah I watched some recent VOD of him. He seems to play a lot more confident and feels more like H2 Walshy again.

Walshy to go HUGE in Reach. I can't wait to see vintage Walshy once again. He said it himself in his blog, H3 was just never comfortable for him. Reach is more his style and hopefully his tournament game play reflects it. I miss seeing the Walshy that could single handedly win games and obliterate an entire team :(

No, just rumors I suppose. FiS is too good to be dropped; it would be a mistake on FB's part.

walshy needs to make a comeback. its gonna be tough with all the new talent out right now but hopefully he can do it, but then again its not just up to him its a team game for a reason. i wish we could say the old FB come together (side, walsh, og twins)

through gameplay, i think walshy will be sick through objective and i love his DMR shot, with Orgre 2's gameplay, he looks sick with the sniper, and dmr, i also noticed that he sprays his DMR shot unlike the other pros, other pros take their time wit their shot to have a solid 5-6 shot, but he still kills them quick with his spray which is pretty sick! Walshy to go big! Ogre to go big! I cant wait until 2011 opener

I don't know. I love Walshy but I feel like what made him such a beast in H2 was how good he was with the button glitches. No button glitches in halo reach.

Its impossible to go positive every game, on adverage he is playing much better then in Halo 3 of course this is online so we won't know how he plays until he goes to a LAN

Online doesn't matter, who knows the games could've been laggy, or host advantage against Walshy, we will have to wait until a LAN to judge Walshy fairly

Yeah because Walshy is getting older, i think they will give him a job at MLG after he retires as Pro Player.

yeah his talent is somewhat faded but his name is still huge so having Walshy around still like Scott (Gandi) and Shockwave around seems nice its funny how Carbon seem to every few years take over lol. but to see bits and pieces of the best Halo 2 teams slowy work their way into Commentating or staffing MLG is really cool i believe that just cant leave MLG all together its pretty much a lifestyle

Walshy's blog gave no indication that he was considering retiring. I think he's just sitting back and waiting until all of the storms have passed. Some of these guys have changed teams like five times and I'm betting he doesn't want to get caught up in that, nor does he want to miss out on a good opportunity because he chose a team early and doesn't want to screw them over.

I kind of agree but he seems to feel better about this game based on what he's said. I don't know if he'll reach the top again or not but we can always hope!

since the thread title has THE in caps, it obviously means the walshy that would go 50 and 0 in a TS game on mainstage because he was the equivalent to greg jennings in H2, it was absolutely amazing. Even in H3 when there weere less pressure situations he would show that he was still great... he jsut wasnt confident
