Hey guys!

!!!!! THE LOCATION OF THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED, PLEASE SEE POST #4 FOR NEW DETAILS !!!!!

Just wanted to throw this out there for everyone to see. Many of you have probably already seen this in my sig, but this is for those that haven't.

A group I'm a member of is holding a LAN in Macon, GA in just under 2 weeks, and everyone is welcome to come.

A majority of people there will be playing Halo: Reach, but there will likely be some people playing CoD:BO on the 360, and there may even be some PS3's there as well. PC's are welcome, and the game of choice there seems to be StarCraft2, but there may be cracked .iso's that some people are willing to share for multiplayer only on some games. Heck, bring your Wii and we'll hook it up to a projector and play Wii Tennis with life-size Mii's!!

It's really just a lot of fun, and a good time, but we'll probably try to organize some impromptu tournaments as well. Cash buy-in most likely (as we don't really have much for prizes this time around). The usual candidates are FFA, 1v1, and last time we had enough people to run 2v2. I would LOVE to run 4v4's but there never seem to be enough people, so lets change that this time guys.

Here's the event details:

can't really do more than 2v2's unless we get enough people to have more than 3 or 4 teams, otherwise it'll be a real short bracket, lol

quite the quandary... need more people for 4v4, more people won't come unless there's 4v4... hmmmmm... if those people came, we'd have 4v4's...

Guys, we've had some unsavory events happen with the conference center we normally hold our LANs at, and it will be unavailable this weekend.

FRET NOT, however, because we're on top of things.

OUR EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED, BUT IS STILL HAPPENING AS SCHEDULED.

New location details:

Holiday Inn
3953 Riverplace Dr.
Macon, GA 31201

Here's the hotel's website, you can get a map and directions there:
http://www.holidayin...nhs/hoteldetail

It's only about a mile from our old venue, but it is a much newer and much larger facility. Unfortunately that also means it's costing us more, but the prices aren't changing for this LAN, no worries. We would greatly appreciate any extra donations to help offset the cost, but they would be completely voluntary.

=====================================

Here's some easy directions:

from Atlanta, Forsyth
Take 75S
Get off on exit 169 (Riverside Dr./Arkwright Rd.)
Turn Left
You'll go under the overpass and through one traffic light.
Turn Right onto Riverplace Dr. (Just past Outback Steakhouse)
Just past the car dealerships on the Left.

from i-16, Warner Robins, Perry
Take 75N
Get off on exit 169
Turn Right
Turn Right onto Riverplace Dr. (Just past Outback Steakhouse)
Just past the car dealerships on the Left.
