Does anyone know what game types go with the new maps? if anyone has a link that'd be great thanks guys

These are all testing variants. There are no official settings or maps yet.

Chances are, Instinct and FB are talking to KC about it, otherwise they would not have began playing on v3 maps. I think our best bet is to just continue watching and see what other map/gametype combinations they use, because KC probably told them which gametypes are on which maps.

Yup. That's what I figure. They wouldn't have just guessed what the gametypes were.

However KC said himself that the decision to keep sprint is now going to cause for some tweaking. So while you're right that the maps and gametypes we saw last night are likely similar to, or precursors of, V3, they aren't necessarily the finalized product

If anyone runs any of the V3 gametypes (once it's known what gametypes play on each map) add Sinstar 3

any word on if they will try out the no bloom on the reticle mod? and are they going to change the touch flag return?

I think that putting in that mod would ruin some of the dynamics that make Reach what it is. and i agree with the touch flag return. i always have bad kids sprint by and recover the flag while i am trying to juggle. atleast in Halo 3 you had to kill the flag carrier most of the time to recover the flag.

Or when you perform an assassination on someone and they recover it :/... But not i think its 3 second or 5 second return I played the test settings and the map retroactive, best halo reach map I've played yet, tried out 5 flag on it......soooo fun

3-5 second returns? i think that would be cool like gazurk said I hate it when kids sprint up and just beat you down so you drop the flage and they return it
