MLG Pros from H3 to Reach.

What's up everyone? I am just bored and thought of a topic. So far since Reach came out, what pros do you guys think stand out, and which ones do you think took a step back from there skill in H3. I know it's hard to tell due to the amount of time the pros have been playing, just thought i'd ask!

ii think lunchbox has taken the biggest step. lunchbox is by far my favorite pro and i think he is playing out of his mind right now. and i think it may be to quick to judge about the step back because of the time they have been playing.

i am in no way a walshy fan at all but i really hope he gets his groove back because i wanna see him and carbon up and not be known as push overs but we will see at the lan in feb hopefully!

Yeah I agree, LBX anr Roy are killin' it! And I am a Walshy fan, man I hope he does good. :) I think Twylight from DH is doing real good too, it will be easier to tell after opener though for sure!

Improved players: Robbie B, Legit, Goofy, LBX, Roy, ToTz , Ogre 2.\, Walshy ( i watched some gameplay ), Assault

Players who need to get their groove back: Pistola, Fearitself( just based on their last LAN performance, FB is still my favorite team but i might have to like instinct as well this year cuz well T2 baby! )

ahhh yes, all great players. yeah all of FB really needs to step it up, besides OGRE 2. idk if they are going to be able to win there 4th straight. =(

I played a couple of games with hinez and he was killing it. His gameplay is pretty good too.

Walshy's blog set his ego pretty high, i hope he plays up to it. We all know he has the talent and drive

Ogre 2 never ceases to amaze me. RoyBox are destroying. The DH crew are doing well. Snipedown is sick from what I've heard. Clutch is a beast!

I really think Walshy is going to surprise a lot of people. Just because he fell out of his prime on H3, people think he's "bad." I have a feeling he is going to kill it!

Krillin Clutch is a beast! And I am really curious about Snipedown. All of sQ are ripping as well, gotta love Quo. :)

Solider 187, tizoxic, SS, SK are no where near as good as they were in H3.

Ouch that hurts, in my opinion I think he has improved. He plays alot more reach than Halo 3, I know he was really excited about V1, hopefully he can perform at the openor.

i agree 100% for sure, for sure, haha, i like the return of the DUO, a better version of them, loving their gameplay on youtube and i see instinct doing great in the opener, looks like Mr. P really worked hard with this set of team at the gaming house!

Couldn't agree more. I was lucky enough to play a couple games with the two of them. Played a sanctuary flag game and i never pulled the trigger, just as a joke. We won 3-0, while i ran flags and Roy posted up with their snipe on our car/their combo and lunch their jump/their car bridge with our snipe. Granted it was against playlist people, but holy moly are they good.

I can also say from experience against Roy on LAN, he just doesnt die!! The only person harder to kill in Reach is Totz, but that's because he spawns with overshield. I'm sure of it...

Pistola, FiS, and T2 seem to be the slowest transitioning. But I don't see that being a problem in a few months.

I kinda don't see Legendz really being that great. StrongSide was only good enough to hold his own in H3 (then again, that is in comparison to the monster he was in H2), Defy and Cpt Anarchy both were on and off in H3... Aries is the only one I can see really stepping his game up, only because he is younger and probably more motivated.

I think that Reach requires ALOT more teamwork and ability to control the map as a team of 4, as opposed to H3 where one player could change the game, i think you will see that much less in reach and i think you will see the players with the "support" label have the most success because it is so much harder to win a battle with a lower shield that your opponent in reach than it was in H3. Also i think that the awareness and decision making will have to be much more precise because of the lack of escapes and the addition of sprint could have some additional chasing (I.E. when a team has a TS lead and only needs 1 more kill)
so breakout players in reach (or Re-breakout players) : elamite, totz, assault, T2, and im going to go for a longshot in Walshy, just because of his overall knowlege of the 3 previous halo games HAS to transfer somewhere into reach!
