Okay, so it's snowing down here, like HORRIBLE, but as I was pulling into the garage I see lighting, I wait, and then I hear thunder. Um, that is so awesome! The lighting is purple!
Does anyone know how this is possible? :D

It's actually pretty common. A big storm causes all that energy and then the thunder and lightning happen.

Something with the humidity can make lightning during a snow storm.
