GSTL Has been updated with a full list of Prizes and People competing.

The basic rules of the tournament work lilke this, each team will select 8 players to compete in a single match against the other team. Before each of the Maps starts Team managers will select a player to fight on that map(Without knowing who is on the other team) So team IM couldn't select Nestea against MKP because Nesteas ZvT is strong. It comes down to what you think your enemy is doing and what maps they are good at.

Team seeds are decided by points given during the regular GSL seasons. Every person will get points towards their team depends on where they placed. A code S player will get a team 1.6 Points and a A player will get 1 Point for the team.
Gameplay Rules

Round of 8, first team to 4 Wins advances.

Semi Finals and Finals are the Best of 9 and will feature the new maps that GSL released recently. See Here for Details (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=189181) These maps are designed to force a long macro game, so hopefully MKP will get no where near the finals this time(Ohh how i hate watching him play)

Prize money for the tournament will be around a $20k Total prize pool. So no too shabby for a 4 day event.

Yea i managed to catch it on his live stream. For the last 20 minutes after IdrA caught the Vikings with the first Fungal Growth the entire stream knew it was going to be an awesome game.

I am also waiting for some IMSeed Replays for the Awesome value.

Tournament Info
GOM TV is hosting a world tournament which will feature fierce battles between SC2 gamers from 4 divisions (Europe, America, Asia, Korea).
* Tournament Date: March 28th~April 9th



Online Preliminaries
4~8 players from 3 divisions, Europe, North/South America and Asia will enter and total of 5 players (Europe:2, America:2, Asia:1) will be selected. America, Europe and Asia will feature players who have recent major tournament wins or recommendations from Blizzard


So because i'm a nitwit, explainy trox! First line says from 4 divisions, but then 2nd line says from 3 divisions?

How does the actually tourney play out? Is it half the world and half Koreans??? And so this just shows how they pick the others?

Also, if WhiteRa isn't picked for europe its all rigged!!
