Hey everybody I figured I'd start a thread here to 'showcase' your controllers. This can include controllers you've made for other people, ones you've bought, or just plain awesome controllers.

Here is the controller that I bought and just received this week. It is 100% blacked out except for the "HEUER" on the lower left hand side. So far I love it and have to thank Create A Controller (http://www.createacontroller.com) for doing an awesome job on it. Let me know your thoughts on it.

I use a plain black one - However with one key feature. I got angry and smashed the side plate of it. So now if i use it for too long i start to get cuts on my left palm -.-

Cant afford a new one so i have to stick with this one

Is it no-slow?

Is it no-slow?

Yup. All of CaC's controllers come with free no-slow.

can you use that at events?

can you use that at events?

Yes. It is just a custom no-slow controller. There is no rapid fire or any other function like that in it. This is the same company that did Status Quo's controllers for MLG Columbus (and they looked amazing). Create a Controller (http://www.createacontroller.com) has great prices compared to some other controller sites.

Edit: ^Beat me to it.

I do not have anything special. I go through a lot of controllers.

Looks pretty sweet man. I'm thinking of trying to do something with my old white controller. If I get the chance I'll post some pics.

I'm nearly finished with my remote as well as my brothers. I'll post pictures when finished reassembling them. Should be tomorrow.

Of course. Any wired controller for its console can be used.

Looks pretty cool man. You know if you wanted to you could probably get CaC to make it for you. They did that same sort of style for Status Quo with similar style text as well. I imagine it wouldn't be too expensive either because they have really reasonable prices too. :)

Yeah I talked to Kunoshi and he gave me an estimate of about $120 for paint and controller.

That's actually not too bad for a custom controller with that type of design on it. Not sure what TCS or MCX would do it for but I imagine it would be around the $150 mark.

Here are some pretty bad photos of my finished (but not cleaned) remote that I've been working on. I wanted to keep it to 3 different colors for simplicity but not just 2 different colors as that has no depth. The main body is cleared with a satin clear so it wouldn't shine much and the "U" shaped piece as well as the top piece between LB and RB that says "Microsoft" are cleared with a High Gloss for a nice shine.

Sorry if the pictures are poor quality

Thanks Heuer! It definitely could be better but I'm not much for patience when it comes to painting. When I'm finished with my little brothers remote I'll post pictures...it looks a LOT better.

I've always been the kind of person who uses a standard controller and garbage headset and the like. I was astonished when I went to a LAN the first time and my BR (after a short adjustment period) was suddenly just plain better. Obviously no-slows are the only way to go. I'm wondering if any of our tech-savvy members could inform me what, precisely, alterations are made to the controller to eliminate the sluggishness that standard controllers typically either have or develop a month after you get them?

Here is an article (http://www.mycustomxbox.com/?p=338)the My Custom Xbox wrote up about No-Slow Controllers. Not that much info but it's better than nothing :)

EDIT: And here is a video from MCX showing the difference and with a little more explanation.

Sorry to stray off topic:

Slow turns are so incredibly obnoxious! I have my painted wired controller and a brand new wired controller and BOTH of these have a slow turn to the LEFT, and UP. Which to me UP is the worst.

I wish I knew how Create a Controller fixed theres as I've heard they do NOT sand on the remote but more or less doing something electrical related to fix the issue.

No worries. I had intended this thread to be about controllers in general too so any discussion about various controllers and their attributes is encouraged.

I honestly have no idea how MCX, TCS, or CaC do the no slow fixes. Must be some sort of "secret" lol.
