i knew about it but i can't do it, playing on bumper jumper I tend to stay away from jetpack. My friend Squiality could do it though. thanks for sharing though, and those Dr. Phil and Mr. Rogers recordings from H2 are hilarious, i've only watched like 2 pages but they're great.

I play Bumper Jumper as well, I have an issue with and was wondering if anyone else runs into this, when juggling flag/bomb if your gun isnt reloaded then if you dont hit the timing just right you will be reloading and it just sucks so bad to be away from the flag like that

This is a really sick trick. I had never seen this before so I'm sure this will lead to some interesting games in the future.

It seems like everyone is still playing Bumper Jumper form Halo 3. A while back a saw a few pros tweet that they were switching their controls to Recon. It makes a huge difference and it lets you control armor abilities with LB. Juggling the flag is fun and easy to do with Recon. The down side is you have to jump with A, so you having to re-work your strafing. I would recommend this if you have the extra time to spare.

I used to play recon, but ppl said bumper jumper is so much better. I'm accustomed to it now, guess switching back wont hurt

I don't know if you guys knew about this either but on Countdown Assault, if the bomb has been armed, you can disarm it by jet-packing below the base under the bomb.

Man I like bumper jumper but I'm learning it may be time for recon. I jump too much during battles though so it could be a good thing.

Thanks very much man. They are old but I had a great time doing them. The way they minimized chat with the enemy in H3 made me give up on the whole soundboard thing. The sad part is I watched rogers and phil for a full year harvesting amazing new sounds that never got used. Onward!

Oh come on guys...Bumper Jumper its easy. All you have to do is dislocate your index finger on the right hand and form "The Claw" piece of cake haha. I play on bumper jumper and I can pull this off but its a pain.

I played default for the majority of H3, then I switch to bumper jumper to get better, then I switch to Boxer because I was bored, then Reach comes out and Boxer on reach is different than Boxer on H3, so then I had to switch back to bumper jumper because I was still playing H3 and Reach, and now i can't juggle a flag with a jetpack.

Yeah, jetpacking with BJ is a no no lol. That's sweet though. I'm still trying to get used to throwing the flag with the right trigger instead of the left which is really screwing me up right now.

this is really awesome. i also use bumper jumper, and claw-jetpacking doesn't work for me. good thing i only have to wait one more month for the razer onza :). i hope pros start getting good at this, it will make the game really exciting watching people fly flags around the map lol.

I know a pro that switched to recon to get around this problem. I'm sure quite a few others did as well.

I've been thinking about switching to another button layout like Default b/c of jet-pack, but then there's that transition period where you just... suck. I might try out recon.
