Hi. Most of you guys know me as being the forger of the map Preserve. I've been recently thinking about some forge-related things, and came across the question, "The forge community has been really good to me, but what have I given back to the forge community?" That's where this thread comes into play. There are many "new" forgers looking for help. If you have a map that you made, and are looking for some feedback, suggestions, and/or tips, post here and send me a message with TLN in it, and I'll help you out.

If any of the "vets" out there are willing to help me with this initiative, just let me know.

I would love for this to take off. I started a group but no one adds their input to it. But it would be nice to ask questions about forging

Edit: here is the group but link http://thelannetwork.com/forum/group.php?groupid=11

I'm not trying to steal your thunder by any means Polish, we are all here for the same cause. But if you feel that this is stepping on your toes I will delete the post

I got a question: is there a way to make shield walls only block people but not shots or grenades?

@Nitro
Your post is fine. In fact, I'm in that group :).

@Gaucho
To my knowledge, there is no such thing, however, ForgeHub always has some crazy tricks floating around there, so maybe they have found something similar to what you are looking for.

The only thing you could use there is several small gaps or holes. Small enough so that only nades and shots can fit through but not spartans.

But again, check forge hub.

I knew you were Polish, I think that group could really benefit if more participated. I mean I have several maps that I have made since the submission ended I would really love to test them more. I hate it when I had group party up and decided to restart a new group and pulled everyone from mine for no reason at all. One person called it complete garbage and left like a you know what. Anyway add me if you want me to help test or play customs, give great feedback, and never talk bad about anyone's map bc I understand the work and dedication it goes into mking a map
