Hello everybody, I am new to the MLG community and would like to know how you receive pro status? Also, do the pro bracket and open bracket meet up at all or not?

It was a joke. Notice one of the players in the video is named Clockwork. Lol.
But honestly, you have to have at least some natural skill first, then put a lot of quality practice in.

You have to place high enough, usually the top 16, enough times to:
1. Accumulate enough points
2. Hold a seed in the top 16
Once you hold a seed in the top 16 you are considered professional.
Championship bracket and open bracket do meet after Winners round 5 or Losers round 7.

How? Find someone better than you, play with/against them until you're better them, repeat until you can't find anyone better than you. Then go to some tourneys. :)

Haha. Well our Avatars are similar. The difference is in the face. Pirate vs. Spartan.

I liked what Havoc said, but you know how tournaments are broken up into pro bracket and open bracket... Well how do you meet up in the two brackets? How do you make top 16 if there are only 16 teams competing on one bracket? Do they connect at one point?

Haha yeah, having the same name as a legend in the game is going to get you some unnecessary flaming.

In that 2v2, was that Clockwork and Saiyan's POV? I assume so because they were getting destroyed.

at the end of the season your points must be at least equal to the number of points awarded for placing top 16 all season long, or be a combine finalist

You really need to go to an event and pull of some flashy moves, get a good placing, and just turn some heads. That's how it all starts.

Tack a small work onto Clockwork I guess. I really don't approve of the InSaiyan using the name he does... but then again, I can't do anything about it.

Believe me, he's caught flak for that. And his is different enough I guess that he can get away with it because it's kind of a play on words.

In the end its all about points. Earn a high enough ranking in the AM brackets and gain the right to fight in the Pro brackets. Earn enough points in the Pro bracket to be 16th seed or higher in Pro bracket. Thus you become a Pro
