Personally I like this idea, but it really depends on where he would be going and the details of the trip. For example if this was only a day thing then that would be cool but if it's longer than that then would he stay at the customers place?

Personally if i was going to do this then i would have my team come to my house and he could mentor the entire team. i happen to own my own house and have an extra bedroom he could stay in so it wouldn't be big of a deal. but is that weird? and how much do you think this should cost?

He announced on twitter that this is something he is thinking about but not finalized, i'm just curious what the community thinks, thanks.

yeah.. hes not the reason why. naded, legit, and goofy are why. Look at every1's accomplishments on that team... then look at twylight. Hes a good support player, thats about it.

Couldn't disagree more with this. IMO Twylight is an extremely underrated player. People don't realize how much he actually does for that team.

They won a ONLINE tournament, they haven't proved anything yet on LAN. Until then i would rather pay ROY or some people on SYA since they have proven themselves on LAN.

He's placed
7th at Orlando
4th at D.C.
4th at Dallas

He's proven himself on LAN.

I wouldn't mind paying him for an online lesson. But no offense to him, he just isn't on the top of my list of who I would like to get lessons from. Not that he is a bad player, but there are other Pros that I would prefer to get lessons from. Especially paying more considering it would be him coming to my house. I'd rather save and hope to get in one of the Pros VS Joes events.

But being on one of the top Reach teams right now says that he is a good player and knows how to win. So those that are saying he hasn't proved himself or is getting carried by Naded, Legit and Goofy...thats just garbage. Legit and Naded wanted to team with them and they had plenty of other options out there. And clearly it has been a good move for all 4 of them.

I think this shows an extreme willingness to help others. Anyone can offer online lessons but for him to take the time to tutor you at your house says a lot about him. And you can say whatever you want he is a pro.

idk much bout how twylight plays, i've never watched his point of view...but just the fact that he teams with big names like naded and legit obviously means he is good. Legit knows what it takes to win (obviously) and he won't team with someone bad. Dh won the dr pepper ladder which means they are the best team right now. PERIOD..and they wouldn't be the best if one of the players is bad because a team is only as strong as the weakest player

i mean he is getting paid to do it lol so that really doesn't show an extreme willingness to help others just an innovative way to make money off gaming. If he ad an "extreme willingness to help others" then he would do it for free lol

You're kidding right? He just took 1st place in the biggest online Reach tournament and placed 4th at the Dallas exhibition with players not better than Naded and Legit AND placed 4th in the last Halo 3 event and almost made nationals. He obviously a top 8 material player.

He would get paid for online lessons as well. I don't know the details like how far he will travel or prices so I can't say what profit he will make off this.

It's a good idea and he is a good guy for doing lessons this way. It's prolly easier/funner to be taught in person!

oh come on... think about it, in his mind hes probably ecstatic about the first "tournament" win. NO other person with 1 (or even multiple tourny wins) has offered to do what he has.. its just arrogant

Now if it were Ogre 2? I'd put him up at my house and hire people to fan him and feed him grapes while he did his thing. :D

you are assuming too much and you clearly have entered your own biases into your statement, if your going to call someone arrogant, it better be because of something they actually did, not something you assume their thinking...it's not arrogant,
your ignorant.

He is a good player, but I don't think he would be staying overnight at my house. If it was an all day thing I would consider paying him for it.

I have hung out with him IN person he is very humble and talks well about everyone. Arrogant is not the right word at all. Maybe helpful.

IMO I think it's a great idea! He's doing more than just giving online lessons, he wants to stick with his 'students' to see how they progress with the lessons.

They didn't win 10k it was 5k. The total amount of money won was 10k.
1st: 5k
2nd: 3k
3rd: 2k

Aside from that, Twylight is a pretty underrated player, and is a beast imo.

All i know is that if you wanna chill with Twylight he goes to the Tournaments at the VGA LAN center in Stamford, Connecticut. I met him there ( Me and Egoizsick placed 3rd in the dubs tourny, got knocked out by Russo and scarvayne. Not fair! ) But yea if your from like Jersey or CT, try checking out the LAN center cuz he was at the last tourny they held

first off, i have no problem with twylight. but the thing is, you havent seen ANY other pro players in the past 5 years make this kind of offer. The way i precieve it is "i just won 1st place, ergo im one of the best" Its a game thats been out for like 4 months. come on now... and dude, no need for name calling w/in the tln community. The topic was what do you think. I think it was ignorant so hush
