If anyone is interested (which I.doubt) google is giving out a free laptop if you complete a survey and qualify.

i wouldn't even take one of those for free. what's the point of a laptop that can only surf the web. you're better off with a regular laptop that can do a lot, and a smartphone for casual web surfing, and if you want to go online with your laptop outside of a wifi zone, then you just do internet tethering with the smart phone. this thing is even more pointless and useless than an ipad.

They said that if you complete the survey it's not garentueed to get a laptop. You get chosen from a group[ of people to see if you are suitable for one.

This is ment for internet power users. You know, people who would rather use web based equivalents to what you have on your physical hard drive. Google already has a great line up of free to use products that do just that. Imagine, In the future you wont have to have things like photoshop installed on your hard drive. You just click the icon, you'll see your familiar photoshop pop up but it wont be from local hard drive, it will be from the internet! :O

This is a beta product and the people who understand how it works and are excited for it are the ones who will get one.
