This is the first time I have ever written like this so if you get lost reading it or it�s a piece of crap sorry just wanted to share my life or at least some insight. So over the past few months I have become more and more active with the community and have gotten to know a lot of good people and some really sick players. What I have noticed is no one has posted much about their families short of Mrs. P�s blog. So I thought I might share a little bit about mine and hopefully anyone with a family will do likewise (I will also post a few pictures of the family).
So About me as you know I go by Gweedo I am 28 full time student(Music Sound Tech), husband and father and hardcore gamer. I grew up in Michigan and live in Florida. I have been in college for the last ten years to as long as most doctors go lol. For the people I have been playing with most know I went to full sail (any questions about the school or a degree in music sound tech please contact me I will give as much help as possible) I did love the school but cause of money I had to leave. However I am still studying the same degree at Valencia and I love it and will hopefully be moving my family to Nashville or East Coast somewhere to either pursue a career in Audio Engineering or Post Production. ]
I have worked at a ton of factories and security type jobs including 50+ concerts( so I have meet a lot of bands and hung with them). I played football for 10 yrs threw shot put in high school and 1 yr of college granted high school was a breeze since I was a jock. Over the last few years I have kind of regretted a few things like not doing better in high school or just for caring what people think of me cause of clothes I wear or how I acted you know. One thing I know I want the best for my family, my dad and I never saw eye to eye for a long time but now I understand why he did a lot of what he did. Not saying he was the greatest dad either he was pretty rough growing up any way not my point. Lets just say I learned a good work ethic and knowing what�s really worth having in life. So basically I lead a very busy life.
I meet my wife Jacki 25 almost 7 yrs ago to date we got married a year and 6 months after (August 6, 2005) and I haven�t regretted one min with that woman she is amazing plus she puts up with the endless gaming I mean really how many women you know that would do that. She is a web designer and stay at home mom now; when we first started she worked at the state of Michigan at help desk boring job good money though lol. Now though she loves staying at home with the kids and either playing farm town or Pok�mon (yes I said it lol, I already bought her the new one for her birthday in March). Most of the time when she isn�t watching the kids or cleaning we both like to watch a god awful amount of shows or movies together (hell I think we have only went out a few times were we didn�t go to the movies lol). She is very active in our church and helps run play dates organizing other moms and their kids so everyone has a good chance to get out of the house and tire their kids out. She also does daycare for one kid of a co-worker of mine to bring in a little cash to help out.
My Daughter Ruthie was born August 8, 2007 (two days after our 2nd anniversary) she is 3 going to be 4 in august and starts pre- school hopefully. Honestly I never wanted kids but now that I get to see her smile everyday I don�t know what life is like with out them they are amazing. She is into watching me play video games and playing her leapster, reading and learning site words (she knows dog, pig stuff like that and can spell them). Loves heroes such as Avatar, Batman and Superman, also a show called backyardagains. She also loves to cause her dad grief lol (for those of you that are parents you know what I mean) especially when I am playing (read my sig its one of our convos lol) but now she is meleeing toys with other toys saying die, die lol. Yes as a daddy I am proud of my lil girl but you get some really dirty looks from people lol.
And last but not least is my lil Sasquatch Emmett. He was born January 21 and is just over a year old. I can tell you one thing this kid loves to act like me lol. He is just a great kid I love the lil guy. He eats anything and everything including what�s on his sisters plate if she isn�t careful, he is a very calm kid only really cries when he gets hurt or disciplined he has a full set of teeth already and is walking and is now into everything as well as both kids love the cat and they torture him so much and he just lays there and takes it.. I really can�t wait to watch him grow up.
So hopefully this hasn�t been to boring of a read and it gives you a little insight to what and who Gweedo is and hopefully I will have the chance to team with you. Thanks guys
