Probably should find a full team first. Attend some events, get some experience. Show people that you can play and have dedication and then go try to find sponsors. Not hating, just saying.

You are not doing anything to sell yourself / set yourself apart from all the other amateurs who would want a sponsor.

Not to be mean, but why else would someone sponsor you? They pay to get you to events and what not, and in return, they get recognized by thousands of fans who then go check them out. What kind of recognition would a sponsor get if they decided to give a team with no event experience and no success at an event a sponsorship? It doesn't make sense. At the current state you are at, you are not focusing on the most important. You need to acquire a full team and get that working well. If you're looking for a sponsor because you need money to attend event, well lets just say its easier to save and work on the team first. A sponsor that you would be able to acquire (at the level of no event experience or a full team) will not easily just give you money and pay for everything. Sponsors want results. Us gamers are simply a marketing tool. We all would like a sponsor but realistically most of us are gonna just have to tough it out.

No one will sponsor you until you prove yourself. 1st event? Don't even bother. No top online placings, same thing, don't bother.
Why would a sponsor sponsor your team? Better have known names or good Online wins over top pros.
