I hope you aren't talking about aPG and the noodle video. According to another respected member of this community, that video is not aPG and completely fake.

I'm curious to see how reality check holds up against these other top teams. There should be some great action from this weekend! I'm hoping we see some videos of the guys there just hanging out like we did at the winter lan a while back :)

I know it wouldn't be good for TLN but I would like to see that somewhere outside of MLG and TLN.

'Cobys2Fast' is farthest from the physical truth, being born with a degenerative muscle disorder. In the world of Halo, he can run, jump, nade, and shoot with the best of them (almost). Halo and the MLG community has become everything to Coby. Over the past three years many of the MLG Pro gamers have shown amazing kindness, allowing Coby to join for online practice and hang out with them at the events. (I have to include DP Rob, who has been a faithful friend to Coby at every MLG event)
As you know, Mr. & Mrs. P are the biggest supporters of the MLG Pro Circuit, giving their heart and soul to supporting team Instinct, all the pro and amateur gamers, and the MLG organizations. They too have had a huge positive impact on Coby's life. When the last minute news of GMM dropping out, Mr. P gave me a call and discussed the possibility of making a dream come true for my son - no doubt, enlisting Reality Check in the sixth spot showed incredible kindness by the Pennacchio's and team Instinct.
I know it totally sucks that GMM isn't playing. I also know many of you out there wish another pro team was playing rather than RC. I sincerely apologize on the behalf of Coby and myself, that team RC has taken that spot. We have no idea how RC will perform against the pros (yes, highly likely dead last) but just being there is what it is all about. Perhaps they will get slaughtered but the experience is invaluable! Certainly it will help the team get ready for Dallas and the season beyond.
Lastly, I would like to thank Bert and the Suddoths for accepting 14 year old Coby as their teammate - Dallas, 2011, will be the first tournament where he did not pick up a team literally last minute! (Coby's played in three other tournaments) Bert, Mike and James have become great friends and teammates - I have heard about the Suds past actions but that was then and this is now.
Thanks to all the Cobys2Fast supporters - I really hope this is a great year for him.
I hope this helps with the obvious question - "Why is an amateur team like RC in the 6 team Lan?"
Thanks, Coby's Dad

AMAZING READ, TLN and MLG has made Cobys Dreams come true, he is such a great kid, and WILL be a great inspiration to the other kids trying to become pros. I know that Coby will play his heart out, and i know he is the youngest in this LAN and in MLG, but i know he has the brightest future ahead of him! Good luck to Coby! and thanks Cobys dad for posting this!

I see them ending up in 3rd. You can quote me on that. It's my prediction, and I stand by it.

Great Post! It needed to be cleared up as to why Coby's team was invited. And very generous of Cobys dad, last minute, to make it happen for his son. Mr. P and I are excited as well to have a new team out and see how they will fair in this big LAN! But most importantly, what Cobys dad said, is that he (and everyone there ) has fun. And I know they will! Good luck to you coby!
And all the team's this weekend.

Thanks for making a great post. Its always nice to get a little more incite on players in the community.
I don't think you have to be sorry that your son is getting a great opportunity to improve with his new team. Any of the top teams would love to be there but if the chance comes to get the best practice you can in, nobody would turn it down. So I hope they RC does well and no matter what the scores show, they experience they will get will be so much more important.
Edit: And that was a great article bringing everyone up to speed on current team standings.

"Great post "Coby's Dad" and I personally think it's awesome that RC is at the LAN and am looking fwd to seeing them play. I'm sure they will get a lot better by Sunday. I don't think there is any need to apologize to anyone for them at the house. They deserve it."
