I wanna know what everybodies opinions are on aliens or other beings. I think after hearing about finds on other planets such as water and fossils it's hard to rule aliens completely out. There are also even sister planets to Earth.. I can only hope if there are aliens they play xbox!

KRILLIN

I don't believe in the alien encounters you hear of all the time here on Earth but I find it impossible that, with the billions of galaxies out there each with billions of solar systems and planets, there isn't life out there some where. I mean, they are thinking that there are signs of life outside of Earth even in our own solar system. Primitive as it may be, having multiple forms of life in the same solar system in such a vast area that is the Universe just screams that there must be other life out there somewhere. My argument doesn't even include the possibility of multiple Universes which is being hypothesized by many.

Wouldn't it be cool if the Covenant was out there somewhere and Humans were the bad guys?

Well if the Covenant is out there we already know how to win. Give a bunch of teens and 20 yr olds a br and some armor. But i agree that with everything thats out there we can't be alone

There are more planets in the universe than there are grains of sand on Earth. With that said the universe is just too big to house only us. We haven't encountered any other lifeforms yet......They prolly don't look the way Hollywood depicted them. WE WILL MEET THEM.

Oh how ironic that would be. lol. But personally I think that their may be life elsewhere. The universe is so vast and like was said before its just hard to believe that earth is for sure the only one with life on it. Im not saying that there is other "intelligent" life like we have here but I think there is deff something more then the bacteria that has been found on some planets.

There is definitely life somewhere in another galaxy, but that only billions and billions of light years away ;) I hope someday we develop the technology to interact/see/visit these places. I LOVE SPACE! The final frontier yo.

Krillin took the words right out of my mouth, there has to be life out there somewhere, by I dont think these UFO's are it

Glad to see most people agree and are open minded, but yea the cliche UFO thing isn't quite what I had in mind either. I really think somewhere in the universe there must be at least another civilization.

Then....either a more intelligent species separated us, our species colonized here, and forgot our origins throughout time, or there is a god.

Wow. I am an insignificant speck of nothingness.

Lol. Sorry to decrease your size even more so, but other than the fact that this Universe is of uncomprehending size, and it is growing at an increasingly fast pace, Scientists are now theorizing that there may be MORE than one Universe. Because all this...can't be EVERYTHING. Can it? ;)

Not to say we are insignificant. Quite the opposite. Quantum physics suggests that a creative mind (like ours) sends out brain waves that is creating and shaping the Universe as we know it. But...we can't get too much further into this, for there are contradicting beliefs and religions.

What is life? It is all so insane when you look at stuff like that, it makes me start thinking about how we got here. Honestly, I have never heard a theory that makes any sense to me. The Big Bang Theory? What happened before the big bang? Like think about it, god it is all so confusing.

I was honestly never too fond of the big bang theory for one reason: All the planets and stars and galaxies have spread out very very far from the point of explosion, but some parts of the Universe are warmer than others. It would have taken longer for gravity to form planets in the far distances of the Universe than the explosions heat to spread out, making the Universe have the same average temp all around. Yet one section is still warmer.

So now there is no explanation of why we are all here. I'm gonna go watch some TV, maybe the Big Bang Theory (I have the new one on my DVR right now). I can't handle this stuff. lol

Hahaha. Well there's always intelligent design. I'm not a big God person, and I don't worship. But myself and many scientists including Albert Einstein, have come to the conclusion that this Universe is way too perfect, everything just flows and could not have happened by chance. But maybe that's where the whole "think it and it comes to be" stuff comes in. I KNOW that our minds are very very very powerful. But we can't tap into it without that key ingredient....

Quite the opposite. Also, here are some theories for an attempt to help you make sense of things. Not trying to convince you to believe this, but just giving you more potential answers to choose from.

Well if the Universe wasn't perfect in every way it would likely not function and consume itself

I believe that there are other forms of life, and they have already discovered us. Obviously 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 999999% of the "alien sightings" are fake, but i think that there are a few specific sightings that are true. such as the one where an air force pilot engaged in combat with some cylinder like thing around the WWII era. I also think that its possible(dont quote me, i find it highly unlikely myself) that humanity's history is flawed. Many of you most likely already know of the dried river beds on mars and it makes me wonder, exactly how old is the human race.... perhaps human previously occoupied mars but, kind of like were doing now, poisoned their planet to the point where it couldnt continue to support them. then, as the solar system changed, traveled to earth seeing it as a suitable replacement, losing its technology in the process. This is a very unlikely possibility, and i dont even fully believe it myself... just somethinng to get the old thinker going... :)

i mean think about it logically, if there are billions and billions of galaxies, and in each of those galaxies there are billions of solar systems, the odds are amazingly great that all of the settings for life to form are mathematically bound to happen. so the people who say we are alone in the universe are simply too closed minded to even take into thought the full idea of how many ways it truly is possible. also, i think most people when they think of alien life think of humanoid life forms, even simple bacteria count as life, and there are still debates about the possible bacteria found on a few rocks from mars. so if we could of had life on 2 planets in just our solar system alone, then its almost impossible that we are alone in this universe. i hope this all makes sense, and i am really sorry for dragging on about this topic, but it really is one of my favorite subjects to talk about.

He's a guy who claims to have worked at a base near Area 51 in the 80's. He claimed (I say CLAIMED because he now does not talk to the media at all about this anymore. He gets blasted by debunkers like there's no tomorrow) to have back engineered flying saucer alien technology while there. There's SO much more to the story, and he's got videos, interviews, etc out there. Very interesting topic. I literally was mesmerized by this story for a time period of around 8 months. I engulfed anything I could get my hands from the internet. There is just preposterous amounts of stuff on him. He seems very credible, extremely smart (he worked for the Los Alamos National Lab as a physicist). However, all of the colleges he claims to have gone to, very prestigious colleges, have no record of him. Of course, that leaves some to believe he was discredited by the government, and some to say he's looney. Either way, FASCINATING read if you have the time.

Of course there are life forms, in my opinion. We are already finding the answers on places like mars.
But, I don't find it good to encounter with them. It's just like when Columbus landed on North America, aliens being Columbus and the natives being humanity. We all know how that went.

The problem with UFO's and our government is very simple, we don't know....anything

If aliens do exist we have no idea what made them come here and what are they doing. We don't know how they are getting here, and what their intentions are, are they hostile, or the peaceful? We don't know the answers to these questions, and that is why the government may be hiding the truth, if they even exist. Then here comes the real problem. Are they armed, and what kind of weaponry do they have? Are they an invasive race, meaning do they see us as an inferior race, and therefore will eliminate us? Or are they more peaceful, and want to share their knowledge of transportation and in galactic travel? And this all revolves around the process of first contact with the alien species is peaceful but requires safety, because we don't know the answers to the above questions. Stephen Hawking said this "If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didnt turn out very well for the Native Americans.

we have a lot to worry about if this is legitimate, and a lot to hope for if it is true.
