So I'm pretty new to the forums as you can see from my post count/ join date, but I really am enjoying these forums a lot more than MLG's. So let me start off with an intro of sorts. I've been following mlg for about 5 years now and I've only attended one event, Charlotte 07. I don't post much on the MLG forums because someone is always there to flame you. So other than that i'll tell you that I am 19, I'm in the army, and I just started college :p. Well I guess it would only be appropriate to introduce myself next. My name is Sheldon and I'm 20 years old, I too am addicted to Halo. I've been a fan of MLG since about 2007 but more closely following it since 2009 (Last year), yet to actually go to an event. Halo has been my favorite game since I first picked up a friends controller and played Halo 2 on xbox live back in 2005. I can remember putting in countless hours playing custom games just TRYING to get better to beat all my online friends. Competition is in my nature and thats why I love Halo. I work for T-mobile USA as a Sr. Rep in Customer Service and am currently not enrolled in College. I do play with 3 other friends and we HOPE to be an actual team in Halo Reach, possibly play at a few events through 2011.

I guess I should post little thing about me here as well.

My name is Jeremy Heuer and I just turned 21 earlier this month. I'm going to college at Kettering University and am majoring in Computer Science with a Concentration in System and Data Security with a Business Minor as well. That keeps me extremely busy during the 6 months of the year that I have school. The other 6 months I work for an IT company back home in Fargo, ND. I've been following MLG for a good while now (beginning of 2006 I believe) but haven't started getting really into it until quite recently. I've only been to two events (Cbus '10 / Raleigh '10) and absolutely loved both of them. I drove over 14 hours to get to Raleigh and between 17-20 to get to Columbus. I like any kinds of music that don't suck which is very vague but I like some things in a genre but not others. My favorite music is trance and more specifically Armin van Buuren and DJ Tiesto.

If I think of more to add here I'll do so but lack of sleep is probably making me forget some things.

My name is Karl, I'm 20 years old and a junior playing soccer for the same college as RiF. Been playing FPS since CS 1.5 and was very competitive in the CAL leagues, reaching up to cal-m. Later on I got into WoW with some friends and advanced in that game to the top tier in Arena and in Raiding. Sold my WoW account for $800, picked up a 360 and started playing Cod 4 with friends. Since I was raised on WASD and a mouse, it took me a long time getting comfortable with a controller, which was very frustrating being used to the high competition in CS. I started getting involved in scrims with CoD 4, but found out getting on a good team is all about the people you know. And I can't stand networking with people on xbox live. Played some MW2, but that game is going nowhere, which lead me to start H3 fairly recently. Now I'm excited to be able to start fresh with Reach and learn with everyone, and maybe even compete in some events.

I'm 23, and separating from the Marine Corps in November 2010. I was going to start a LAN center, but decided that I could make more money doing other things. I'm minor pain, or Allen, whichever. I dunno how long I've been following mlg... Mabye 2-3 years? Magik originally got me into mlg and I've been teaming with him on and off since. I've never personally been on a team without him, so anything about mlg, etc, I owe to him. Thanks magik!

My goal with being on a team is not necessarily to be an uber pro, though that would be awesome. All I really want is just to be able to compete against the pros, give them some real competition, take a few games from them, on the main stage. I just want to know what it feels like to play in front of fans at the biggest of the tournaments known to halo-kind :P. I feel with Bring the Rain (BtR), my goal can become a reality. No we aren't the best team out there, be we have some great raw chemistry, clicks, and skill, of which we are working to harness.

Shortly after comming back to competative halo when reach came out, magik told me about the lan network. When I first checked it out, honestly, I thought its just a set of forums, where people probably flame like mlg forums, and that I would be inactive shortly after. However, I joined to use it as a resource to get scrimages for our team. Quickly thereafter, I realized that TLN was much much more than a simple set of forums. When I joined I was warmly welcomed, and quickly made some friends from TLN. Now at least once a day, I'm playing customs with people I met in TLN, and we have some great times. Then I come to find out that the pros play at TLN headquarters (the basement), and I thought that was pretty awesome. Even grabbed membership so I can watch streams, but more importantly, to support the website. I'm sucked into the site everyday to catch up on the latest news and to see how the community is doing.

Now I have a new goal in mind. In addition to striving for that main stage appearance, I'm striving for a chance to make an appearance in the basement, where we (BtR) can compete against the pros, and give them a good challenge. Though we still have some work to do before we'll be able to make a good challenge. :P.

I want to thank all of the lan network for all of your support for BtR. I mean, we even have a fan page that even made it to the most popular threads list. That's amazing! That just makes me strive even more knowing I have people chearing us on! I also want to thank D_Moralize for his amazing work on our logo, speaker tags, etc. We were so picky and he put up with us, even though the payout wasn't much, although, I have a feeling that he would have done it without a payout because he's just that awesome of a guy. Thanks :). Also, I wish to thank magik. Like I said earlier he's the reason I even know abou mlg, TLN, and even a lot of my in game skill.He's truely a great friend! And finally, I want to thank Mr. P for the creation of this website, thus bringing together an amazing community.

Dang Idk how I am going to compete with minor pains post.

Well I am Sabrea or Jonny I have been following MLG since Halo 1 when I was a kid. I have been a FB fan since Halo 2 when it was Sayain O1 O2 and Walshy I have always been in awe about the MLG community and the people that compete in it. I found TLN back in may. I couldn't watch any POV due to the fact that I had no money at the time so I really didn't have much interest plus you had to pay to even enter the site if I remember right. About myself I am a baseball player for my Varsity team I surf and I am a photography and I am VERY tall for my age which is 17 and I am 6"5 I was 6"0 when I was 13 so I haven't grown since then. Anyway I have enjoyed playing and talking to the community and I plan on being here for a long time!

im 19, i am working full time in i level avionics a mcas cherry point, i go to college for engineering as well, picked up halo right at halo ce, i started following mlg 6 months after halo 2 came out, i used to go to lots of local lans in california (central cali where im from) i ran with the matrix lounge, buddys gaming, and level one, and team randoms of course. im trying to get a team together but its hard to find people that can actually attend events.. which was my biggest motivation on joining TLN.
i took some time off cause my training for my job was hectic but now that im settled im trying to pick it up again and i plan to attend any and all tourneys next year (granted that i have a team)

my old gt was Gunade, or Abstract e2k. i was really not that known in the halo community a few months ago. i used to play gow competivly. then i moved on to h3 once gow was taken off mlg circiut. before halo though i played cod4 for only 3 months and got pro points from pcl 3. i was suppose to coach NOX gaming for nats but 1 player could not travel. when i went to h3 i was awful at the game i was a legit 15 in mlg. i played h3 for 3 months and already got to a 45 in mlg which i think is pretty good. one of my friends owned a website called teame2k.com. this were i started to get recognized in halo 3. he told me to find him a team to sponsor i picked SQ and had been talking to flamesword for weeks about it. at first he did not really believe me that is was real becuaze i was just some random kid that most pros woould not even respond too. but i finnaly got him to have a meeting with the manager of e2k (bronx) and the owner (Legend). Everything worked out great and there still sponsored by them as i speak. Then me and my friend came up with sponsoring tD as like a side sponsor. i had liked tln and all so i thought that would be a great idea. i had talked to totz about it and he said sure. it started out ok but then totz just kept delaying us so i said forget it even though we basically gave stuff he gave us nothing that we promised in return. regardless to say im still a fan of totz and anyone from tln. Another team that i helped was final boss i had became good friends with fearitself from it. Right now im looking for a team to coach preferably top 16 but top 32 is fine as well. Some teams that iwas going to coach were hot n mild,the Nsan3z, a few others i cant recall. If anyone from tln wants to play my gt is FataL on T3. i love to help out any1 with anything im just that kind, not just in gaming but in real life too. my aim is Ryanizo9 if u want to talk to me there. I have a few shout outs to some people that helped me as far as i got today. Bronx,fearitself,dreadful(my partner),ghostayame and B C = the best friends ever on xbl. i know this was a long post but i just had to get it out there about my career in gaming lol. irl im a senior in highschool and play travel for basketball and hang out with my friends at the mall or my place.

I really enjoy Halo but I have a very bad temper so I don't usually play with others much lol. Also, I suck so people usually don't like playing with me because it's a guaranteed loss haha. TLN is really cool and I enjoy watching the streams and interacting with the other Premium members during LANs. The Gaming House is going to be sick, the videos are great and I love Totz! He's so crazy. Really makes me wish I had the support he has sometimes. I should be a pro something or other in sports but unfortunately I had no guidance growing up and moved out when I was 16. Still had a pretty good athletic career because of my genes but it could have been a LOT better. ANYWAYS, enough COL.

Strictly Reach- Basically, the clan helps people who aren't so good get the basics down, then eventually get them on a team. The teams run customs against one another and we hold tourneys, it's a load of fun. looking to get more good players in here and getting the clan sponsored soon. But less about my clan and more about me. I'm 18, studying in college to start a business. In MLG I'm more of a support player, but I go clutch when I need to.
