Hey guys, I've been having a problem with my computer and it has been preventing me from doing a lot of things for a long time. I was wondering if anyone can help since there seems to be no answers when I search online.
I have a Sony laptop with Windows Vista and I've been recieving an error message saying The ordinal 120 could be not be located in the dynamic library .dll or something along the lines of that.
Has anyone had this problem and do you know how to fix it?

I can't get it to work. It starts to do it then halfway it says this action needs permission and it only says try again and does nothing.

IN that case you need to disable UAC(Which is a diabolical tool Microsoft implemented to make people rage)
Run > MSCONFIG > "Tools" Tab > Find User Account Config(Possibly called UAP in Vista) > Disable > Reboot > Try again

Ehhh, I can't find run. I'm used to the xp setup and vista I can't find it.
I found it, it's the command prompt.
Okay, so I don't think that got me anywhere. I just did the reboot and it's still not working?

Holy crap, I keep trying and trying to fix it, I think it's a virus and it's saying that there is an error with the programs. Every time I open a program thats meant to fix dll errors, the message pops up.
I'm about to just reset this laptop to factory settings!

Yeah, I will. I just need to move some of my dad's files to a flash drive first and I don't know what files he needs so I have to wait. OH MY GOD I JUST WANT TO PLAY STARCRAFT. Haha, I've been watching sc2 videos all day and I found my fav. pro.
