I have just launched my new site after two months of work on it and hope to get it rolling with the competitive gaming community because I feel it has a ton of potential. It is a social networking site for competitive gamers. After you make your account you can use a little drop down box to put yourself as a free agent, team of 2, 3, 4 or coach for Halo: Reach or Black Ops. You can upload photos submit LAN events to the front page and invite friends, write what event experience you have what events you went to or why you are looking for a team. Anything you type in your profile people can find in our search. You can also search gamers by zipcode, city, state to host or find people to LAN with a lot easier. There will be more to come but for now I just want people to know there is an easier way to "post" as a FA then the MLG forums where you can disappear in a matter of hours. If anyone likes this site or idea let me know, if you hate the idea or want to criticize also let me know. Both are equally important to me. Thanks!

Ya I was deciding if we wanted to do status updates/a wall like facebook, just user profile comments, a forum or a friend chat for more interaction. But I feel like a forum may be counter-productive.

I think the site will become pretty popular soon.
I really think you should add a forums though.

Thanks for the feedback guys I am just holding off the forums for a minute because I really want to think of a more unique way gamers can connect and interact if I don't think of something soon it'll be forums and chats again (which I'd rather leave to places like TLN or MLG they do it better) lol.

dude thats really sick but please to leave it only to Halo Reach and Call of Duty im a Fighting Game player just asmuch as i am a FPS and MLG player. i would love to see Super Street Fighter 4 and the best Fighting game ever Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 events on your site. other than that i think its fantastic!

Aren't those games mostly 1v1? I mean I'll add Capcom vs Marvel 3 right now if you want and you think there will be support for it.

we love MvC here on the TLN i believe there will be cuz people always wanna practice people. if it sucks the worst thing you can do is take it off.

Alright I added MvC3 Competitor to the "I am" section with the dropdown and "looking for" in the search engine so other MvC3 players can find each other!

Ya this has been secretly in the works for over 2 months. We have 195 gamers already and we only went live late last night. I really want the gamers themselves to have most of the input into this site. I don't want to do things MY WAY but YOUR WAY instead, I love the competitive gaming community and I've been a part of it sense '06. I just figured I could help it out and some way and maybe convert some casual gamers to hardcore players at the same time.

I hope so I think we need a lot of members and a lot of people to spread the word for it to really work and take off. It will be much easier to use than a forum system to find teams and there are so many more features we can add once we gain a good amount of support. Thanks guys I'm glad you like it so far. Not too shabby 230 members sense this weekend.
