Possibly a Halo 4? (Not the CE remake)

Does anyone know if Microsoft is going to continue to make Halo games for us?
I know it won't be as great as Bungie's, but a new halo game every now and then would be amusing for the fans :p

And it is rumored that bungie was talking about continuing spartan 117's story but we dont know

There's gonna be a ce remake this fall, and halo 4 will come out in 2012 or 13, made by 343 industries, and master chief will be in it.

There is basically no information of this type out there. Basically, the rumors are that the game is being made. We have no details at all of its content or anything like that.

i dont possibly think they can ruin it anymore than Reach has already. But all the people on 343 are former bungie people and most the people in 343 were part of Halo 3 and about the br, if there gonna be brnging master chief out of his sleep...its probably gonna be a bit of time elapsed...so i do believe we will see the br but an upgraded version of it...hopefully NOT the dmr

I think 343 will do a good job, I saw a video of new microsoft technology and part of it was showing how it turned your walls into a huge tv and they were scrolling through games and they were all legit like project gotham racing and stuff and it said halo 5, so i dont think theyre done

I would hope they would listen to fans, and hopefully take out the bloom and bring back the br. reach and h3 are both good games, but I just find halo more enjoyable with a br at my side. :]

The Halo franchise generates too much revenue for the not to want to continue the series. Even if they make a bad Halo game, it will still outsell 90% of other games that get released that year. And as people have pointed out, there have already been talk in the industry about continuing it.
