I don't know if anyone saw this or not yet (I'm sure many have), but BtH dropped Heinz after the tournament and picked up Tizoxic.
Just posting the news since it hasn't been posted yet
discuss if you want :)

Until it is something that comes straight from one of the players involved then I take all supposed "team changes" with a grain of salt. Not that long in between events this time so I hope we see less team changes than last time..

I really don't get why teams pick up multiple people that are sick with the sniper. It just seems like sometimes it's just a waste of talent. I'm really excited to see where Heinz go and other team changes.

I dont think Tiz should go to Bth...dynasty had a nasty teamwork...He should just stick it out with them...

Not sure about that either... Most times it really doesn't work out..
Off topic: Does anyone have a full list of the Halo 3 results? I haven't seen anything from MLGPro yet (except for the article on top 8) and also haven't seen LastMan or Reason start the DC Pro Teams thread...

Yea I don't get why BtH didn't click? Because I think they've always been a top team and have great players... and these guys on paper were nasty. I guess it just shows how hard it is to find the right mix of players...

Interesting. Honestly, we've seen 3 slayers not work in the past (See tD: Pistola, Neighbor, Hysteria). I don't think this will be any different with Demon D, Snipedown, and Tizoxic. Which is a shame; I like Demon.

In response to whomever said it was a "stupid" team change, I think it's dangerous to assume two different teaming situations are analogous. SK, Hysteria, Neighbor, and Pistola did not end up being an effective team, at least not relative to the earlier squad with Heinz. Nonetheless, lots of people equally felt that Ogre 2, FearItSelf, Victory X, and Pistola was a team top-heavy with slaying talent, and that has obviously not turned out to be the case.
Note that I'm not defending the move. I think Heinz brings a lot to the table. Nonetheless, I think the impending end of Halo 3 has created a sense of urgency. In the past, BtH might have given it another tournament or two and seen what happened. The reality is, though, that there isn't time for that. If you can make an all-star type squad in terms of individual talent, you probably have to do so in the hopes that you all click and can surpass the likes of FB and Instinct. This move may ultimately end up lowering BtH's mean placement distribution, but if it even slightly increases the likelihood of a first-place finish, it probably should be done.

IMO, expect the team changes to continue, the only 2 teams im sure won't change is FB and Instinct.

How do you drop heinz. He was there best overall player on that team. BtH is just stupid. Hes the only one on that team that dident throw a fit everytime they lost.

I don't think Heinz was the player that he use to be to be completely honest. He hasn't performed that well the last couple of tournaments since he's left Triggers Down. So I would have to disagree. He was however the most calm on his team. DD/MANIAC/SD RAAAGGGGEEESS.

yah true he wasent playing that well, but still,if i was starting a team i would pick up heinz over any player on BtH.

I guess it all depends on the other 3 players you would pick for your team. I would however pick Snip3down.

Yah snipedown is ok. Heinz just seems like one of the nicest players out there and i would rather have a nice player over an asshole.

i think this bth can do some real damage if you look at tizoxics numbers from raleigh. He has the ability to slay and do a lot of objective, which bth really struggled with at times. If tiz keeps it up bth could win dc for sure

Being nice isn't really that big of a factor when the top teams choose who they want their teammates. However it is nice to have.

Wasn't Tiz one of the top fantasy players at the last LAN too? I remember him putting up big numbers both slaying and objective. He is one of my favorite players to watch too, ever since I saw him almost put up a killtac on Heretic Slayer against Carbon last year. Yep, saw that live. Everyone went nuts.

Yup that was crazy. No one who didn't see it live didn't believe me when I told them that Tiz got a Killtac on CbN. Then the VoD came out and everyone was talking about it lol :) And yes at the previous LAN he was the 4th highest in fantasy points.

I think both BtH and Dynasty made team improvements. Adding Tiz will only help with the communication and add more ability to BtH than there already is making them again a favorite to be a top team.
Dynasty picking up Naded and Heinz improved that team because they picked up 2 superstars with Heinz being able to do it all well (though not as well as on tD) and Naded is Naded who alone adds more wins to a Dynasty team who struggled really to win at Raleigh. Adding both also gives them a chance to practice more with the past accusations by other team members that Destin did not dedicate himself very much.
Overall both teams I think will benefit from their transactions and will be interesting to see these two teams play at the next LAN

I remember Clutch getting on Destin on Twitter and on Livestream about lying about where he was going/doing so he could get out of practicing with the team.

I think it was a good move... something obvious wasn't gelling and Heinz didn't seem like he fit on BtH. Which is nothing against him, it's just he's new and that team personality is pretty much already set with Maniac and Demon D

Well now that Defy is on Str8....Looks pretty good to me. I don't think moving Tiz to BtH was the smartest idea. But anyways Heinz on Dynasty? That'll be interesting.

Agreed that they are 3 different people and time will tell if the roster works out.
For the bolded part: there is a thread dedicated to the new Str8 Rippin lineup (http://thelannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?223-New-Str8-Rippin-%21%21). And any posts about Naded on the Dynasty squad were made before that change was announced.
