Astro A30's Mic Question

I realize this is not a sale question, but was hoping someone might be able to help. I recently got some A 30's, and I'm having trouble with the mic picking up my voice. It does so very infrequently, and it's very annoying. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Does the A30s have a mix-amp?

I had this problem, so i sent the mic cable back and got a new one sent for free, lovely people at Astro :)

Hmm, my friend complains of my voice dropping in and out on my A30s as well. I assumed it was because I tend to speak quite quietly as most of the time I play is past midnight and I don't want to wake housemates, but I'll play around with it a bit more and see if this could be the issue for me as well. I've heard good things about Astro's customer service department which is reassuring if this does turn out to be the issue.
