I just rage quit out of 2 games in a row.

I NEVER rage quit.

and it was only about my 3rd game today.

A lot of you have played with me, I'm not bad. But I got stomped on my 2nd game today by a kid I REALLY dislike, that I used to play with a while back. It was probably my team not communicating whatsoever, but I went -5 none the less.

The next game was really laggy, and me already being angry, got even more pissed. I quit, I couldn't take the kid Teabagging when he's not even good.

My last game, was not so laggy, but one of the guys on there team backpacked the hell out of them. He had more kills than our whole team combined. It was unreal. And I couldn't do anything because my team mates were bad, And I was bad too because I really can't play when I'm mad.

Does this ever happen to you guys?
Anyway, I decided I need to take a little break if I want to get back to my regular self. And what better way to do so than making a thread about my feelings?

My teammates keep getting mad during games and completely stop calling out. It is starting to make me mad because i keep getting assassinated.

I go play drums on RockBand 2 and pretty much go crazy. Works evey time for me. :)

I had 3 teammates quit on Sanctuary TS within the first 30 seconds and got spawn trapped with 4 snipers. Went -42 but finished the fight baby!

That's what I would do as well.

I don't see the point in rage quitting. Even if you do (in your own opinion) have bad teammates you can still play the game and hopefully learn something from it. Bad players are part of the MLG community. Some of them just play it for fun not knowing what it is, others are looking to get better. I wouldn't ever rage quit my team though because the players on it are bad. It makes the community looks like a bunch of stuck up jerks that think they know it all. I feel better knowing that I stayed in a game rather then rage because of something like lag, teabagging, or "bad" teammates. Imo it takes a bigger person to stay and finish the game out and not blame a bad game on those things then it does to blame a loss on teammates and quit.

No I totally agree man. That's why I never rage quit. I always try to see what they are doing, and how is that strategy trumping mine, or my team's. Cept today. Idk what got into me but when there's lag, and I just get owned, there's absolutely nothing I can do about it, and the kid teabags me. It just gets to me. really sets me off.

I do see your frustration, i try to avoid the MLG gametype unless im at least running with 1 person i know will be communicating. It is ridiculous how unbalanced some of the teams can be, but i guess thats what happens when your multiplayer system is completely community and fun based, rather than for competitive grouping. Dam i miss the skill levels from Halo 3 :(

I only get pissed when its a 3, 2, or 1v4, and i just learned to quit out at that point to avoid getting frustrated and in a bad mood. I just say oh well, and try a new game. Lagging or bad host makes me pretty mad too, but ill never be the first one to quit on my team, unless im getting betrayed.

Oh man....today was just not my day...I go eat and come back after a few hours. And I get the worst team mates in the world. They didn't do bad so to speak...but 2 weren't calling out, and the other was pretty much blaming everything bad that happened on me. He dies, HAVOC WHY WERENT YOU THERE? Enemy gets a cap. WTF DUDE WHY DID YOU LET THAT HAPPEN? (even tho another team mate was over there already.) After the game he talks mad trash. OMG. STFU KID.

I did only go +1 tho. I think It's because i'm sick. My brain is too slow right now :(
