I'm excited about this. This means a lot more games on Friday and I like pool play. It reminds me of the World Cup.

I think it will be fine. The best team should still win. Maybe they are just doing this since we really don't know who the best teams are right now. It's possible that once we find out the real top 16 seeds, it will go back to the old way for event 2.

It just makes it feel to me like losing doesn't have that much of an effect, and these matches won't matter as much. It should be that if you lose twice, you are out. And that's not how this system works. Oh well, I can't do anything about it. But I really hope this doesn't stick. And at least pool play is apparently only going to be Friday night, so the whole tournament won't really be that different.

Totally forgot about placement rounds, probably because I don't pay attention to them -_- well in that case, I guess this isn't that bad. at first I was like wow Pool 3 looks tough.. so does pool two... ah whhat the all the pools look tough now that i really look lol!
