Warning, Disclaimer: The teams/seeds below are not official and the teams/seeds provided are based on rumors circulating around the teams. Again, the teams/seeds listed below are not official. The official teams/seeds will be posted by MLGPro.com shortly before the upcoming event.

I feel bad for Destin getting dropped from BtH. However Tizoxic is a way better pick. Can't wait for more big changes. Classic to have a big change and same goes for Carbon.

Oh wow, a seeds and predictions thread that I actually want to post in! I don't see much coming from that Carbon duo. I hope, but can't see it. Also, it stinks that Power got rid of Reaction. They've been getting consistantly better I feel. Now who will they get?

Also, will FB have the chance to take the lead in points if they win the next event?

Destin is the most underrated pro player, in my opinion. I put him in my top 4 in the last TLN Fantasy Draft for a reason. I love watching him play. I never understand why teams don't stay with him. It's always been a 'dedication' issue from what I've heard.

If Instinct gets 2nd next event, and FB gets first, I still think Instinct will hold their first place ranking, but only by a small margin.

The Power situation.... That's rough. That really is a downer for the Buk twins and MVP, but I believe they'll find a solid fourth that will work.

The Dynasty squad does look amazing. I'm not sure, we'll see how Clutch and Heinz mesh together. That just seems like an odd duo to me. I have this strange feeling that Naded and aPG are going to become one of the nastiest slaying duos in the league...

Yeah he wasn't even the worst player for dynasty last event statistically speaking, but you can not argue with the pickup of naded and heinz

This is true and it is going to end up hurting teams in the long run because they are not building the chemistry that makes FB and Instinct so good. That is way I predict FB 1st, Instinct 2nd, and TD/SQ battling for 3rd the last two events of the season.

I agree Destin is extremely underrated. I would'nt have made a team change so quick. They had a bad tournament but it seemed like they were playing really well in the 6 team LAN.

Well, Destin is a good player, but if what you said is true Imp3nded, then can you really blame them for dropping him? I mean, if he isn't dedicated to winning, then can you keep him? If you don't put in the practice time, that hurts not only you, but your team as well. They have to have someone who will be as much a part of the team as everyone else. I obviously don't know if this is the case, but I remember meeting Legit after they were sent to the loser's bracket at nationals last year. He seemed really down, and never seemed to get back into the game. That in itself can destroy a team.

I'm sorry. I made it sound like the fact that he's 'supposedly' not dedicated is not a bad thing. I understand it's a detrimental thing, and can really effect a team. I was basically just answering my own question, lol.

With the only team changes announced so far (BtH / Dynasty) I really believe that Dynasty benefits the most from it. It gives them a really explosive player in Naded and Heinz brings along a bunch of good overall skill.

Well I can definitely concur with Impended's prediction for DC. I'd like to see Instinct, FB, and TD all in the Top 3 again.

My hope is that Instinct will be back in 1st and FB or TD in 2nd or 3rd. SQ definitely deserves and could easily take a Top 3 seat with how well they've been performing so I'm glad they are staying together as of now.

I'm also hoping Carbon picks up some good players. Personally I'd like to see someone like Strongside on a good team again too...it just felt like he was pulling a LOT of weight this last event. Deep down inside I sort of wish he would go to Carbon just to make things interesting.

Well I am officially never going to the MLG thread again haha. I hope that this site won't be near as bad in terms of people making dumb posts.

I think that Instinct at 100% is better than FB at 100% and hopefully we see that at DC because that has yet to be seen yet this year.

Right now I think that Insstinct and Final Boss are ahead of the game as seen Instinct really didn't have a big problem with Status Quo saturday night and following right behind them is Triggers Down and sQ. I can't really judge BtH or Dynasty yet, but I think these two teams got better with the roster changes. It seems that Carbon and Str8 have been lost causes this season

I think that if say carbon or HaE tried him out for a week or two then they might accept him on their team. However each team would be taking a pretty big chance picking up ogre 1.

Yea I'll be happy to see him back. He's been my favorite pro pretty much ever since I started watching MLG :) I'd like to see him on a good team and place well in these last two Halo 3 events.

I'm weary to put FB at the top but their performance at Raleigh was amazing, didn't they ONLY drop games to Instinct and no other team? If any team is to beat FB from here on out its Instinct IMO.

Although for teams I do want to see Str8 Rippin' play before the event. I hope they attend the next LAN. Is there any rumors about who Carbon will pick up????

It's just tweets but I think maybe SK wants to pick up Chig / Soldier for Carbon. Again it's just all speculation at this point.

I think as of now w/o having watched any gameplay from new/uncompleted rosters there are maybe 5 teams with the potential to win DC

Instincts problem (and I think this will continue to be a problem for them) is that when they won Columbus they had their first challenge. Final Boss put up a very strong fight in the finals. Instinct had assumed it was only because they weren't playing that well. What they failed to realize that it was actually Final Boss not playing their best. This gave Instinct this false sense that they were untouchable.

They'll probably come into DC more practiced but I don't think FB will slack off the way Instinct did and will likely win again.

I think the four members on Str8 now will pretty much do nothing but practice H3 only because it's do or die time and I'm sure they want to be at Nationals. These aren't four players that are used to sitting out the national championships. Same goes for teams like Final Boss although they're not in any danger of not being able to attend.

The lower seeds may do what Power did, knowing that no matter what they're probably not going to be able to qualify for nationals.

Soldier was positive 2/3 events this season and is something like +29 or +30 for the season...he also has more assists and obj than a lot of top players like Snip3down

Stats: lower number is better and all are out of a total of 81 players
Kills / Game - Soldier187 is 24th
Deaths / Game - Soldier187 is T-49th w/ Chig
K/D Ratio - Soldier187 is 31st
Assists / Game - Soldier187 is 50th
Time / Game - Soldier187 is 76th*

Just counting players that are currently on Top 8 teams: (# out of 32)
Kills / Game - Soldier187 is 13th
Deaths / Game - Soldier187 is 22nd
K/D Ratio - Soldier187 is 19th
Assists / Game - Soldier187 is 23rd
Time / Game - Soldier187 is 32nd*

* - Time / Game may be not be a good measure because some teams could have played more Ball / King games.

(Went back and checked - his only positive '10 tourney was Cbus.)

Actually when people bring up Walshy I do point out that he has not performed very well (compared to other top players) since the last half of 2009. On the selfless point - playing selfless is not always a good thing. Sometimes you need to go out of your way to get something done in a game.

Edit: Statistically ToTz is one of the worst in the top 8 yet everything that he does on Triggers Down helps them WIN. The way that he plays opens up so many opportunities for Neighbor and Hysteria to do the great things they do. TD would not have been able to get 3rd at Raleigh without him.

This is the last year for Halo 3 and we are seeing players fading from their prime. Like I stated earlier Reach is a different game and only time will tell what players can find success with it.

This is my last post on this subject and getting back on topic: BtH to be crazy good at slaying with their current squad, not too sure about objective. Top 6 for sure.

I agree but slaying =/= winning. I didnt say they'd perform very well overall it's just that the players on that team all are able to be very explosive and shut the other team down.

Correct, Instinct has a very large lead right now points wise and should take the #1 seed going into Dallas unless something crazy happens.

It is good to see FB with a good coach, i felt their coach didn't do a good job timing power ups that last event especially in the instinct series. I understand he was a last minute replacement, but it seemed like instinct had all the power-ups and weapons. That can be the difference in winning or losing a series and Mazsik is one of the best coaches in the game, his track record speaks for itself.

Final Boss to get 2nd, I really think their is not another team that is as good as these two

Status Quo will get 3rd and my top 3 looks like a consensus, but I believe they will finally get over the hump and break into the top3

Triggers Down will place 4th, but I expect them to have an easier road to work with unlike Raleigh. They are more polished and Neighbor is playing his best halo

The two teams I think will place in the top 6 are Dynasty and Warriors. I didn't believe in the Warriors, but as the season has went on I have become a believer and a top 6 would mean if Str8 doesn't place top 8 they are in nationals

The two teams that will round out the top 8 I think will be Believe the Hype and Carbon. You can't always keep walshy down and I think they are maximizing the amount of practice they can get to round out the top 8 and I think BtH will come out flat and disappoint like they did in Raleigh.

Str8 will finish in the top 12, but it will not be enough with Warriors placing in the top 6 which leaves Str8 Rippin out of nationals. After watching how they behaved at the 6 team LAN I just don't see them rebounding after a loss come tournament time. I think that Naded and Defy just don't have it like they did last year and the T2 and Ghost experiment just isn't working. I heard constant frustration from this team from all members. T2 and Naded are clashing and I haven't seen Ghost this frustrated ever. The best teams are ones that get along with each other as we have seen this season with Instinct and Final Boss and from what I saw at the 3 team LAN this was not the case. It is starting to look like Str8 could be getting a jump start in Reach.
