I just wish they close the Severs so all derankers can stop wasting people's time. Why derank in a game that has been dead? No one will ever buy an account or pay for boosting anymore.

Halo 3 was only fun in the 40 to 50 range. If you are not in those ranks then don't even play because everyone lower will be deranking. (for the most part)

ok, i'm a little confused here..

problem: when you're playing, you get derankers on your team.

solution #1: shut the game down for everyone
solution #2: stop playing

now, both of these solutions will result in you not playing halo 3 anymore.. so why not just go with #2? you don't even have to wait for bungie to do it, you can start right now.

I still play H3, and when this happens just quit and move onto the next game. Rank really should not matter anymore, but it does happen still and amazes me tbh.

Yeah man you shouldn't worry about it. If you still like to play H3, I would suggest finding people for customs.

You are right. But why do they still do it?
Halo 3 was a pretty good game, but since Reach is newer with a slightly better connection, the guy whoever posted this thread might as well stick to playing Reach.
I hope though that one day the matchmaking system in a Halo game is decent, because I don't like H3's or Reach's because of many reasons.

I'm pretty sure XBConnect supports Halo 3, and there's no point in deranking because it's all customs.

Halo 3 is still a very good game even if there are derankers. They should keep it going at least until halo 4 comes out. Reach isn't perfect I have played in matches and got a deranker on my team several times.
