Why TLN

Hey guys and ladies, tonight i was asked why i actually joined TLN (his response cause your not going pro so why did you join) and it got me thinking why did we join as in did a friend point you this way or did mlg give the details.

For me i love gaming i think there almost nothing better (short of my wedding day or the birth of my kids) i was watching i think it was Columbus when they made mention of it and searched it out. at first i was like this is a good idea but really didn't conform to the idea of it since i had alot going on in my life. But honestly i think i am getting more and more involved is due to the feeling i get from meeting new people and i have gotten to know a lot of gamers from this site and run games or just have general conversations. Honestly you don't have to wanna go pro or be a pro to enjoy this site and its community and i am proud to be a premium member can't think of a better way to spend the money. lol so alright people whats your reasons for being here

My reasons, this are where the pros play and this is the best community out there! All the people of TLN are great, why wouldn't i be here is the real question O.o

I remember Towey posting a thread on mlg about a free stream of Instinct and Carbon before Orlando '09, and I just never left.

Well I heard of TLN back in the early days of its existence, but became more of a member in the last few months where I felt that I could take my game to the next level. I love everyone here at TLN, truly this place has a great family of gamers.

i joined because i saw in the MLG forums that FB picked up totz at the begging of the off season right after the 09 season ended. I think all of fb was over there and were running games on the website. I found heaven! lol

I joined cause I love watching high level gameplay. It's fascinating to me for some reason. The thought process that has to take place at a high level of play is ridiculous.

I got into TLN because of the Stream. Towey had a thing where if you signed up quick then you had a full on membership. That didn't last long, but it was enough to keep me around.

I remember joining just because I wanted to check out the streams but I never would have thought that tln would grow this big and have such a great community. My friends list is growing more and more everyday replacing ppl on my list that never played with more community players that all have "tln" before their name. I'm proud to be a member.

I got into TLN when they were doing LANsnow, saw the pics and some videos from Gamers outreach i think that was there, i cant really remember the name, but anyway, yeah so after that i saw towey post on MLG about a stream on U-stream for live pro game play. Checked it out and was hooked! The quality wasn't great so when i heard they were creating a site i jumped instantly, and still here today.

I joined because I think I saw towey post about the forums on twitter over the summer. The forums were still young and had a small population. I've always wanted to join a forum in it's early state to watch it grow and this was a perfect opportunity. Although I don't post everyday, I lurk every day many times a day. I recognize a lot of your names and I feel like I know all of you.

Unlike other forums, it doesn't feel like I'm posting in a waste pool here.

Same. I was bored out of my mind and I love watching Halo.

Pretty soon a community spurred off of the first few broadcasts and I stuck with it.

I hate watching crappy JTV streams. People on there suck. I like watching the highest level of play so I can see where the competition level is at. It also keeps me sharp on my own game. I feel like watching pros makes me play better in game.

I joined because the TLN forums and community is more accepting then the mlgpro.com fours. I feel like this is more of a real community then other halo type forums.

I personally joined to watch the lans in between events. Made an account when it started but lost it. Also people were nicer.here.than on the mpg forums.
