yo i want to start a gaming league

i need teams that want to do it. it will be a four week season. then playoffs will happend on the playoff weekend of gb. each team must own a gb. ill make the schedule for each team. this is suppose to help each team make the playoffs on gb. its double header each week. then the first and second of your division will make the playoffs. i want to start it when i got 2 divisions(8 teams). ill be making an website that will have the schedule. and each team's gb site

We've got a nice league already started over at mlgforge.com. The community forge league, we have monthly seasons and a monthly rotation of maps. First season starts April.

I like your idea but I kind of feel like there are alot of TLN members that are trying to do the same thing or have already done it and it kinda of worked. You should talk to Chickens on this and see if maybe you guys could merge your efforts because I know he has alot of teams already signed up for his tournaments and IDK how many teams are going to sign up to multiple tourneys over and over again, but i do really like your site idea (even if it is kinda ghetto ;)) and having ppl go there for info and sign ups.

Yeah I think it would be cool if you and luke got with chickens and talked about doing something. For instance you could have a GB tournament league...lawlz. But really I'm sure something excellent would come out of it and you guys wouldn't basically be fighting for people to join. I feel like having so many things up at once confuses people and makes it where not everyone can sign up for everything.

Yea once this kicks off its gonna be sweet. Plus these maps are maps the have potential to being on the circuit :) I love playing those maps from some of the greatest forgers.

Not a bad idea, but basically this is already happening on multiple fronts. Luke has started a GB team, and I have started a tournament. Also, it is a lot harder than it sounds to just make people play at an assigned time. Without a cash prize or anything, teams dont feel a need to clear their schedules to play. So it isn't a bad idea, and maybe we could work with you sometime in the future. I encourage you to stick around these forums and get familiar with us in the meantime :)
