Did anyone see Mimic get goosed on main stage against BtH? lol
Thoughts? & PoV Link?
I remember Snip3down getting up after the match, I guess he didn't check everyone's stats and screams GOOOOOSE! mad loud..hilarious

Yes I was on Main Stage watching the match :p That was the first time I have ever seen someone getting goosed on Main Stage though.

I was on main stage as well when it happen and I thought the same exact thing....one kill like jeez lol

It happens to pros more than you would think. I mean APG got goosed by CallMeGod and friends. Although that was online... :p Triggers Down has a goose section on their website (http://www.teamtriggersdown.com/goosed.html). But BtH just seemed to have Purgatory's number and that was an extremely quick Narrows CTF game.

It just really sucks for Mimic that it happened to him on his first trip to the main stage. I wonder if he will stay on Purgatory. Drew seems like a very loyal teammate.

It happens online A LOT more than you think. Some of the top teams normally win Narrows/Pit CTF in 2-3 minutes every game online if they're on fire. The other team just can't do anything and then soon you'll see a little nice goose egg on the opposite team.

That was not Mimic's first trip to the Main Stage.

Have you ever played a full pro team? If you are trying to say you are better than Mimic... you have no idea.

Personally I'm not really shocked and I don't really feel bad for Mimic. Everyone has those games where everything goes your way and you can't miss a shot, and then everyone also has those games where everything conspires against you and it leaves you feeling completely overwhelmed. Mimic's moment just happened to occur on mainstage, and I mean it's unfortunate but it happens. Naded dropped a double goose-egg on the old Classic I think it was, and various occurrences have happened in the past, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Part of being a pro player is swallowing moments like this and coming back from it.

On a side note, I think Mimic ONLY going -7 in that game also reflects on just how badly Purgatory got ran over and not just Mimic. There weren't even a high number of kills because the game was just so fast. Personally I would feel worse for players like Elumnite who are very skilled but have become synonymous with putting up big positive numbers come tournament time per game. Mimic's a pretty solid player.
