Interesting....I heard Dynasty was Clutch, APG, Naded, Heinz. That team looked a little better, albeit only marginally.

Idk i don't see the team meshing outside of the game that well. Idk thats just me and that means a lot when it transfers in game. Ya gotta get along to some degree.

Still not sure how I feel about this team. Ghost and T2 argued so much during the LAN and they didn't seem to mesh very well together at the tournament... But who knows we'll see what happens. Still many team changes to come I'm sure.

I like this team in paper...T2 and Ghost are some of the best strategists and leaders in the game; they have to time to get their teamwork and chemistry down. I could see this version of str8 being competitive

they found another main slayer T2 doesnt need to be the one fully relied on as a main slayer also with defy as a great secondary beast with a br str8 is going to do alot better im just a lil if with ghost and the leadership fight between t2 and ghost

I think the problem with Str8 lies between T2 and Ghost. They are both vocal leaders, and T2 seems very stubborn. I can see them butting heads. (This is speculation. I have no insider info.)

I think speculation that Ghost and T2 don't get/won't get along is hard to judge upon...what we saw at the LAN was frustration on both of their parts b/c they are both vocal leaders and the team was struggling, so naturally they both thought there were reasons why this was..I think ghost and T2 staying together after the tourney and dropping chig/soldier shows that they are compatible and still want to game with each other..the addition of Naded gives T2 the top slayer he needs after losing Snipe-D and Defy gives him a solid filler player that will lay down incredible BR shots (that is, if Defy practices for this tourney, it was quite obvious he wasn't prepared for Raleigh) Personally, i think this team has great potential T2 and Naded are both players who get very pumped up and they can catch fire, i'm excited to watch this team and I am def. a str8 fan now

Although I am not a big Str8 fan I have to agree with what you have said. Str8 now has the potential to do some big things.

another thing, this roster looks really balanced. when i look at top teams their rosters usually have 2 slayer oriented players and 2 support/obj style players, which seems to be working very well (see FB, tD, instinct, SQ).

i see ghost as a support/obj along with either T2 and defy. either T2 and defy can step up and be that guy who cleans up a lot of kills along with naded.

I like the look of Str8 Rippin a lot more than the previous edition, a team that really didn't surprise too many people by struggling horrendously. I still see this roster as a middling team, though, fighting in the 4-7 range. They just don't have the raw talent necessary to unseat Instinct and FB in my opinion, and BtH, SQ, and TD all probably fit into that category as well.

As for Legit, I'm glad to see him back, but he honestly just hasn't been very good since absolutely dominating in '08. Maybe the time off will allow him to recapture the drive and maybe the talent is still there, but I don't know what, other than name recognition, would prompt someone to value him over FA's like Destin or Soldier based upon recent performance history. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he doesn't find the "Top 7" offer he's looking for.

I think legit is still as good as he was in 2008, you just don't lose talent. What i think happened was he lost the drive to play to get better rather than just playing to play. Ghostayame mentioned at the first 6-team lan that legit really was not trying in their series and it was keeping the team from getting better. I think the break will help motivate him to start trying again and return to the beast mode legit.

I truly believe this will not happen. No team is going to break up their seed 1 event before the National Championships. They need as much positioning as they can get since they only have 1 more try to get into / stay in the top 8.

Back in H2 when mlg was doing online tourneys my team signed up for the very first one. We were like in group B before the bracket play. Our first match was a Team called Wort Wort Wort lol and we just narrowly beat them. Our second team to go up against was Str8, back when it was T2, Legit, Fonzi, and Foulacy. Well lets just say only one game was really close and we lost 3-0. So after the match t2 didn't remove me from his list and eventually I used the great invite all online friends option that was available in h2 and well t2 sent me a message along the lines of your off my list never do that again lol. Idk it was weird and I swear this is 100% true lol.

Good Team, Tsquared is a very solid player and I never see him go more negative than 5. This will be interesting since Naded was Tom's former teammate so they might have some good chemistry.
