So I haven't done this yet, and I feel a little silly not doing posting here, especially with my join date.

Hi my name is Eclipse, and I've been gaming as long as I can remember. Starting with Sonic 2 on the Sega Genesis, then up to Mario Kart 64, and then up to Halo CE. Since everyone is really here for Halo I will expand on that subject.

In 2002 my best friend had moved from Cincinnati to my current location. Her brother was the one the one that got me into playing Halo CE, I did not play it competitively, at least on a scale like MLG, every one want to be first it is our human nature. At this time I did not own an xbox, so the only way I could play was going to their house.

In September 2005 (two months before the xbox 360 launch) I had my father buy me an Original Xbox, with Both Halo 2 and Halo CE. I did not have Xbox Live yet.

In the spring of 2006 I got my first xbox live account, and my buddy in my Freshman civics class asked me if I have ever heard of MLG, I hadn't until that point, and when I heard of Final Boss, and the Dynasty I was hooked, even if Carbon won the Championship.

Since then I took Halo 3 way more competitively than any other game to date, but with no consistent team I was not able, or willing to go to an event. So now I leave you with me at Halo Reach. I'm currently a Free Agent, and you can see me play at PvJ. To quickly describe my play style I can do everything, not trying to sound cocky, but I can. My one weakness though is that I can rage, but I'm working on that as you read this post, and I have noticed that it only happens when I have teammates, that don't do the basic work. IE. call-out AND listen, and have the will to listen to criticism.

Thanks for all of you who read.

Eclipse I completely agree with you on that one, I have a teammate at the moment who CANNOT call out while he is alive, its like his mouth is glued shut, I totally know how you feel. Nothing pisses me off more then when he yells that there is two on his X... Nice to meet yea man.

And the worst part about it i find, is the fact that they either

A) Blame you for their death
B) When they call out after they die, your just around the corner, and easily could have helped
C) Call out after they die, and are on the opposite side of the map (ex in enemies bases by them self on Sanctuary Flag)

I know in C that if I have a good team that we need to help him out as quickly as possible, but map awareness is key to success.

Nice back story. And I have to agree with you on the teammates that cant call the times they need to the most...they will remain nameless. But its just so annoying when they are right next to you and die when a simple call for help would have kept both of you alive, killed the other player, and allowed you to both push into their base. Oh well :)

Hahahahaha.

And the abosulte worst part, they never accept that they are calling out terribly.
