Look what i got my hands on today

Well, im good friends with my Local gamestation Manager. I used to work with his twin sister for 4 years. I got a phone call from him today asking me if i wanted to come and check out the new Legendary editions of Halo reach.


Simply, Ahhh Mazing - There will be no spoilers here either!


First one all, the first thing that struck me was the size and weight of the thing. In total the statue is about 1 foot by 1 1/2 feet tall. in total the entire thing weighs about 10 kilograms. which is about 16-17 pounds. Also the book is simply stunning. I didnt get chance to read it but it just looks beautiful.

It was number 640ish, i cant remember the exact number but i'm sure it was in the 640 region. But first 1000 out of 3000 isnt too bad imo.

I was actually thinking about pre-ordering it. I had no clue that it would be 150$. I will save my money and spend it on something else. That is too much, I was only going to pre-order it for the flaming head. Not anymore.

Cheapest edition is just the "Regular edition". It just comes with Reach. No extras.

Small reminder: I believe we are getting just a wee bit off topic here. I believe that the intention of the thread was to discuss the thoughts on the statue included with the Legendary edition

After launch it will most likely be selling for more than the Legendary edition was just because 1) people will pay for it and 2) they didn't make that many Legendary editions compared to Halo 3 :p

Well, they are only making 3000 legendary editions this time. As far as i'm aware, there were over 12000 copys of the H3 legendary editions made(Please don't quote me on that, but i seem to remember reading that figure on Bungie.net)

I would never sell mine, but if you leave it a good few years im sure we could see the statue going for �300-�400 easily

From looking at it aswell, i think the reach limited is comparable to the H3 legendary, i know you don't get the helmet. But there is a beautiful diary & book detailing the personal relationship Dr Halsey.

Correct, this is part of what is included with the Limited Edition of the game. I really can't wait to get my Legendary Edition. The statue is truly a great piece to have if you're a big Halo fan and you either can afford the $150 or know someone who can get it for very cheap :)

That is why the "and" was included there ;) If I was allowed to get more than one from him I would totally do it but even they have restrictions (So they don't horde them all for themselves)...
