How does this happen?

Alright well guys today College Football Saturday started and my team: Georgia plays at 12:30pm. I decided to set my alarm for 11:00am so I would wake up in time and get ready. So this morning I woke up at 9:30am a little bit too early then I was expecting. I watched a episode of lost.. took a shower and got everything ready. Then I got on the computer looked at the bottom right and noticed that it was 7:00am! I changed my alarm clock 3 hours behind the REAL time. So when I woke up at 9:30am it really was 6am.

I was only an hour away from the kick-off. Now I'm 4 HOURS away.

I have only ever known that happening to people my university mates used to pull pranks on, never someone doing it to themselves. /facepalm to you sir

I went to bed at 2am. When I woke up and thought it was 9:30am. I just thought I was extremely tired because I went sleep at 2am. NOT because it was 6am. Oh well. I just have to lurk the forums until it's time for kickoff again :)

It says in my forum title. England, it was 11pm here - Plus i hadnt slept the night before so i was extra tired.

Even by my standards 11pm to goto sleep is stupid. Im usually very nocturnal

I try'd watching American football when i came to Cali a couple of years ago. There were so many ad breaks that it just annoyed me. I like the system we have in the UK, 45/40 minutes of uninterrupted game(Depending in your choice of Rugby/Football) 5 mins of ads, 5 mins of pundits talking then 5 more mids of ads before the final 45/40 mins are played.

I wouldn't say that i was very well versed in the rules, but from what i could tell you teams were allowed to bring on players when they felt like it(Correct me if im wrong). to me it felt like a game that didn't want to really be played, but i was only 19 back when i went to the US last so i didnt do as much drinking as i would usually, because from what i hear its better to watch after a few cheeky drinks
