hey i found this website through obvious means, and am looking to get involved some way. i live in nyc so doubt i could ever visit the actual TLN but i'd love to game with some of you if you want to add my gt: NYC ziG8

i used to play halo 2 back in the day, went to a few MLG's... never really placed well then stopped playing halo for a while during the 3 era. i've recently gotten back into reach heavy and plan to go to a few MLG's this year. i have a team (axiom) http://teamaxiom.net (working on a new website) and ......... i like halo :)

i personally really like reach even though i think there are a few lingering issues with the game that should be addressed in some sort patch or title update. i actually like reach more than halo 3, i'm not hating on halo 3 though but i just feel like out of all the sequels halo 3 had less of an emphasis on individual skill and i agree with a lot of points walshy made in his recent blogs/interviews.

right now i'd say i like reach better than halo 2 even, but i had my best times in halo 2 and got to play with a lot of really great players during my time competing. in reach i haven't really been able to lan as much... like when halo 2 was out i could just go into the city and lan with a bunch of really great halo 2 players from the east coast, but that lan center has been closed for a while now so lanning isn't really an option for me...

besides all that though i think reach is a great game and should have a good run competitively before something else replaces it.
