Crysis 2 vs Homefront

I feel as though i should get Crysis. But i hate the fact the GFX have been dumbed down for Consoles. I wanted to have it hilariously awesome GFX on my PC

This is a heck of a question to ask...if I could only get one, I'd probably get Homefront. The story was written by John Milius who co-wrote Red Dawn, which kind of explains where Homefront came from. Its supposed to support 32 players online, so that should be fun to see assuming it holds up well. Crysis 2 is going to be very good in its own right though. Having played the beta, it was decently fun and has some cool ideas of its own. I think they're both going to be good, so it really depends on what kind of game you are looking for. I'm getting both because I want to see what both are capable of. ;)

I agree with magik. The game looks pretty good. Played the demos and it feels cool with a few bugs
(im sure can be fixed later), but all around looks like a great game an a great investment.

You never said you couldn't afford both. I was on the assumption you just wanted one.

I'd say Homefront. Crysis 2 just doesn't seem visually worth it being toned down on consoles.
