Alright, I'm not really sure where to start off at so I guess the best place would be the beginning.
I started getting into the MLG scene around the end of 07. I can't seem to recall how i got into MLG. My closest relevant thought would be while I was playing Halo 2, I was running in Team Snipers and a few guys on my team were talking about the latest MLG event. At first I didn't understand what they were talking about and couldn't bring up the nerve to ask them. Well finally about halfway through the game I asked them about MLG and they told me to go check out mlgpro.com. Thus began my first look into MLG and competitive gaming.
From then on i began to sort of scower the forums and really dig into the MLG scene. I watched every single event live and at one point brought my laptop out onto the beach just so that i could semi-attempt (WiFi FAIL) to watch the stream. I ended up getting sand in my laptop and it fried the keyboard, FML.
Now onto my Halo gaming. I didn't play Halo 2 that much but when Halo 3 came out i was immediately addicted. I played continuously and had prolly more than 50 teams in my time. I had a lot of good times and a lot bad times. Times when i wanted to quit and it all seemed hopeless and times where I couldn't wait to get home to practice.
Now after being in the Halo competitive scene for 4 years I did finally make it to my first event. I went to Washington D.C. with my friend Blayzen or Brady. We had a great time especially when we ordered pizza at the hotel. If u wanna hear that story just PM me. I had a wonderful time at the D.C. Event and got to talk to my favorite pros and even beat Suddoth 1 in the BIC Flex FFA, LOLZ.
I then found out about Starcraft while i was at the D.C. combine and it got me hooked right away. Later on in January after i had retired from the Halo scene. I set my sights on Starcraft. I bought Starcraft immediately and I got the same feeling I did when i first bought Halo 3. Now I watch the GSL and strive to be a better SC2 gamer and hopefully get in the masters league and prove myself.
I guess that about sums up the summary of my competitive career. It brought a lot of fun and giggles and i now hope that Sc2 will bring many more. Now for TLN i have been a member since the day that Towey posted on the MLG forums about a site called Lansnow.com. I Fell In LOVE. I proceeded to meet a lot of cool people through TLN and its even helping my Sc2 game. Thanks a lot TLN and I hope that there will be more fun and more giggles to come in the future.
